Yesterday's pics of a few just behind my house. I'll be setting up a camera soon to film the numbers I see on a daily basis. Some won't believe how many graze out at one time.

Go on Artic tell the truth.................were ye ever tempted  ..............

It brought a little sweat to my brow :)

No it's the norm seeing them Jigsaw, but it brings a smile to my face each time, and my heart beats a little faster!

  2. Finally got him after several weeks of causing damage.

Over the years I've learnt a lot from my old friend. Look at his wife who also gets stuck in! It's always a pleasure to see him.

Plenty of meat all round, and rest is now needed.

Please move to suitable topic if needed.

Send my regards to him, he's a character haha

Both are 9 now and pretty much retired, bonus if they put something in the bag. I've kept a dog pup back from the tri coloured, very much like his dad at the minute.

  5. Both of those pictures are muntjac's (First is a buck followed by a Doe) most of you have read my post correctly. Beyond that spinney is one of many places where I regularly see Cwd. I was there yesterday morning and afternoon to try and take some decent photos with a half decent camera.

Now I have socialised with people that have posted on here, been into their family homes, and lamped with them, the list goes on. I'm not saying no more on the subject, if others want to post about our outings and friendship then that's their choice. What you individuals do in your own time is your own business, what you say or pics you post on any forum is your own choice. I don't need to make extra friends, I don't need to gain extra permission, I may ask for advice at times, that's what these great forums are about. Being personal and abusive will not get you anywhere, so I choose to ignore those most of the time.

This is a deer thread, to discuss books of new and old, and knowledge of the species. I clearly don't know anything about deer or the difference between muntjac's and Cwd.

I'm not on here 24/7 so not posting instantly doesn't make anyone suspicious. Have a little think of about that...

  6. I have read many posts submitted by "artic" and to be honest seems an alright type of guy!! He has been posting for around 8 years and his passion for the game comes across as genuine!! Have you had any personal run ins with him logan to do with our passion???

Well thank you Sir, and so true are your comments.

I work for the MI6, I "Covertly" hunt down all poachers and bang them up. I earn thousands per day which allows me to buy the best Led lamps, purse nets and wellies. Tomorrow I'm buying a Legacy, 7 top coursing dogs to run beside my shiny new car, one per day!

Logan would you like an invite? Would you like some more info?

Been here 8yrs, took lots of members out, you might get lucky Logun..

  7. Peddler or no peddler you enjoy the books for what they are. Without a shadow of a doubt they are all great books and will be classics. Yes some are selling at high prices. A book is like a comic, In time they will be worth more money if they are kept in good condition. People will pay the price for anything they really want. Credit to all involved in the making.

  8. Artic fancy a mooch... lol you treat me to a chinky and I treat you to fish and chips!

I'm laughing at your Fish & Chips comment. It reminded me when I was in Tunisia walking along cobbled streets. Locals from the souks would say in a dreadful cockney accent "Fish & Chips Mate!" Anyway..

Thanks for your kind offer but I prefer Thai haha

Maximus I've seen Cwd spread over 50 miles from here where they settled on very dry land, including very dense wooded areas.
