    british birds are not really worth all the hassle that goes with them imo everyones entitled to an opinion my opinion is that british birds are worth all the hassle,its the same with owt,theres good times and bad times but in my experience the good ones far outweigh the bad,i have 3 large aviaries and i breed bullys,chaffys,goldies,greenys,linnets,siskin,yellowhammer and lesser redpoll and i also keep a few fifes.i started out with chaffys and greenys but like darcy said its fecking addictive,give it a go mate you wont regret it

    Any idea how this works? Ive read about this system but i would have thought simply filling the bin up at the start and planting the spuds at the top would be better yet the experts say to do what you say. I cant get my head around it. im no expert ,its just summat mi owd fella taught me,and ive done it ever since and the results speak for themselves

    put about 12 inch or so of compost in your bin and mix a bit of well rotted manure into it,then slightly push your seed potatoes into the mix with the shoots pointing up,then cover with a couple of inch of compost and water,then just keep checking it and when you see the new growth coming through,cover it with another couple of inch,dont cover to much as you dont want it using all its energy just to surface,then everytime the new growth shows keep covering it until your bin is almost full,then just leave it and harvest when the leaves start to die back ps,you only want 1 shoot on your seed

    That's as maybe, but "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" won't fix things either. I was only pointing out that shipping the defendants abroad to face certain torture isn't the British way, and rightly so. That said a bloody long spell in Gitmo won't do any harm and stops them participating in any further terrorist cell activity. JMHO. if its not the british way to send em abroad to be tortured... then torture the b*****ds here

    ive got black rock,theyre good layers and dont mind being handled,which is a bonus when they need catching up for any reason,it saves you running round after the feckers

    this is my bitch at 10 mths old and at about 15 mth old with her 1st retrieved fox,sorry no more recent 1s,i got her off scotsman who used to be on here,the sire is zeus and dam greyhound,she cost me a meagre £150 and she is a joy to work and own and as for them not having the balls for the job,well,let me tell you,theyve got balls to spare
