His comment on a black roof in a dogs mouth was interesting,the old timers back in the sixtys told s the very same thing and funny enough it appeared to be true,any russell we had with a white roof was very soft.Them old boys really knew there stuff.No big monsters of dogs either.

I know they can throw the towel in at anytime though, but a dog that hasnt let you down. Will you rest him up and try again, That would be my plan but then again maybe not if theyve threw the towel in once I be looking for mistakes all the time my confidence in the dog would be in my head all the time its a sore one mate.Been working my black dog for a while now. Coming up to 6 year old not let me down. Dropped him in a stiff place last week. 2 hours of digging and he moves. Half an hour later he is out. Gutted isnt the word.

Used to be a shed with the small square bales in it just over the road a bit from me and we got a good few fox from it down the years then they knocked it to build a house so that was that.There is an orchard where i hunt and its walls are covered in ivy and it holds fox regulary.Then we have an old house with an earth within it.The entrance is in the face of an open fire place and it can be dug in either of the rooms thats in it,just a matter of breaking the flag stone of the floor and about a ft diging and your in,there is also an earth in 1 of the sheds surrunding the house,very hany shallow places for starting a young terrier.
We had a place like that that had a Badger set(pre ban)we dug it regular,one day we dug it to much and the fireplace heart and all collapsed.

Listen i never been to one of these show's, and yes there are idiot's there but there are also some serouis hunting folks that go for the fun and to hang out with friends. It gives there dog's something to do besides sitting in a kennel. Is it a event that shows if your dog is a good hunter? Hell no it's not. Only hunting can show you that. Do i think it's a waste of time having fun with your dog? NO I DON'T. What do you do with your dog's when there not out hunting? Flirt pole? Play ball? Walk the woods? WHat? Im gonna assume they sit in there kennels bored off there ass.
Not having a go at you Rippem,but f**k me are these people real,they are like something out of One flew over the cuckoos nest.Most on here have put down better shite than their little heroes.

you should look it up again. There is alot more stuff then that. And when your not hunting what are your dogs doing? Nothing? It's better then having dogs and only taking them out when and if you hunt. The more the dog does and sees only makes him stronger mentaly. No harm in having fun with your dogs.Just looked it up its embarrassing,going up a box to tunnel to a pet rat in a cage.
They were not hunting dogs,they were fanny lickers,if one of them got a thorn in his face the owner would have a stroke.

How will they catch them,?snare,cage.does this mean they will trap one hundred,one thousand ten thousand,very curious to know how its going to work.Personally I have only ever seen one sick badger in my life(Im a badger watcher!!)they appear to be very very healthy,I also think Brock is a scapegoat.Wicklow is over flowing with Deer they are a complete pest,Wicklow is also overflowing with TB.
