HiNot sure yet mate maybe ill use her uncle. If not my friend has one but it has extreme dog aggression toward male dogs so not sure.

Sorry to hear that about your bitch mate.

If you have to think twice about breeding from a dog(extreme aggression ??)with a bit of gameness in him you are in the wrong breed.

could some one come on here and honestly say they actually saw a kerry work either in a stop end or in any situation where true gameness was visible ..from all the people ive mixed with over the years,none...AND I MEAN NOT ONE ...has ever seen a decent kerry blue ..i saw a vid of a kerry put up against a wheaten in the box way back in the late 70's and the kerry didnt last 2 minutes(literally) the wheaten was taken from the kerry ,which i might add was screaming for mercy and as soon as the kerry was released it jumped the wall..i dont think a blue was ever used for anything other than a few rats and murdering things on top of the soil and probably in company too,,their know to be man biters, good guard dogs and BAD  with small children..... i await the onslaught lol

You have said everything that can be said about Kerrys.

your fleg is on the top the saucydotters fleg. I don't do bonefires saucy, maybe I could have misread some posts but theres no denying the division amongst the hunting types, however up here your rebels your upping killed more irish men, woman n kids than any other that's all.  all I was saying that for the fight to keep modern day hunting maybe the different types need to come together and sit down in a room and work out a way forward together leave history to one side so they don't fall out and have a zero tolerance motive to agreeing anything with antis or theyre like. and I'm certainly not bitter towards the irish.

Nobody mentioned British or Religion or Rebels,or UP HERE except you,if you want to debate Politics go on a Political forum.Do not know where you get your statistics on killing from the Ancestors of the hoy poly on horse back killed one million on this Island.

It's only "some" of these lads are like ole Julian. Everyone shouldn't be tarred with the same brush. Many are decent enough characters dispite their posh accents and most wouldn't know a dogs head from its arse. But usually the lads that are more vocal are the Julian "type". If the Julian types played fair and were honest with themselves they might realise with utter clowns there really are and the damage they "try" to do to us all. I'm not sure who is worse? The Julian's, Facebook heroes or Antis?

Your lucky Corkman they are extinct down your way Tom Barry(RIP)burned them all out in 1922.

  5. Not many have time for fucks on horseback in Ireland,we remember our history, these are the breed that persecuted us and starved us so we ate grass. The working class in England did not fare much better, they were looked on as rif raf and kept down with goal or transportation for poaching his Lordships game(thru hunger).Deep down they still think the same about us.I have told them this on occasions when we crossed paths in the field, once a GENTLEMAN on horseback in redcoat(Irish people have long memories of redcoats,Remember Skibbereen, and Boolavogue)rode over to challenge us  while out on a dig,he was told his pedigree and that he would be pulled from his mule and the shit kicked out of him.The days of them looking down at us are gone.

Have done a lot of digging on my own over the years Liam and with the odd exception most of it went smoothly. Also had a few experiences on my own that I regretted not have a witness because of unusual experiences, ie. digging a pure white specimen that I released confident I'd meet it again, but never did.

But a solo dig a couple of weeks ago made me realize I'm not up to it like I used to be. It caused me to miss two days hunting and has pissed me off realizing I've to be careful from now on.

Same as that, when I was younger the deeper the better,or fairy forts that some people were afraid of.We dog white ones down around Roscrea we were striped like Zebras,it was the only place I ever seen them.

  8. Was at a badger dig when I was eight years old with big hairy arse country men, relations of my own and I was hooked straight away.Started doing handy digs by myself when I was fourteen with white dogs.To the present day I find great peace when on a dig by myself I just love the silence around a hole.Im back to picking handy ones when on my own as I have just lately copped on Im not twenty anymore.!!

That's something I wouldn't know, but the lad I was shooting with on Sunday was telling me that all the kids in his sons class had to be tested for TB. Not because one of them had been in contact with old Billy Boy but with a Billy Boy who'd joined their class from Africa. Apparently there's been a few cases.

The head master has been seen setting snares but they'll probably just vaccinate :whistling:

TB is starting to be a problem again in Ireland because of all Foreigners from TB riddled Countrys coming in here and not getting tested at entry, after all our suffering from TB we are letting it in with our door wide open. Two good friends of my own got a very serious strain of it working in the prison service, personnel who interviewed these economic migrants !!! a lot of them have also got it.You will not read about this in the papers it would probably lead to shouts of Racism. As for getting TB from digging badgers back in the day we dug plenty and kept up to forty in pens nobody ever got nothing from them.I dug one(PRE  BAN)that was very sick and looked to have TB and others were in the best of health.
