None british? will that include premiership managers, surgeons, chefs and some royalty? Well i think eeryone knows what i was getting at, polish and illegal immigrants namely, who are taking our houses hence more being built on what should be countryside. yeh i think ive seen the error of my ways now about wanting a bull x for rabbiting. I love the look of some of the collie/greyhounds, espicially some of them with bearded collie and border collie in. What is the make up of your lurcher in the pic mate?

As youve probably gathered im quite new to all this really, but i know that beddy greys are a fair bit bigger than beddy whippets. Ability wise they should be similar shouldnt they? maybe the beddy greys would be faster?

Im sorry but the country is in a state! Make me Prime Minister!!!! All hunting bans lifted, no importation of food stuffs, immigrants and none british to go home! Anything else?? Oh yeh stop building houses on countryside (happened at both my last adresses). Could rant about this all day im afraid. Im only 18 (19 next month) im dreading this country when ive got grand kids. I bet they wont be able to shoot anything, have a gun, go fishing, not even course fishing (catch and release) they wont be able to own a 'bull breed', staffys will probably be outlawed due to bad press and british peop

Hi davey, cheers for the reply. When you say industrial estates and hotels - are these not classed as public places? The industrial estate near me has got roads and pavements and is a bit like a street with buildings if you get me. Or would you shoot inside the actual premises of the business? Hope you can see where im coming from with with the industrial estate thing, lol. Gaz

Yeh i think from what ive read BASC sound the best, also they are very well known among all field sports men/women. I dont want to start the BASC vs SACS debate tho, already seen that on another thread! Cheers for your help. Gaz

Is there much about in the way of shooting permission these days? Is it more a case of knowing the farmers/land owners? I appreciate most people on here are not from round staffordshire but can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Gaz.

Haha. Thanks. I cant believe how expensive they are, it must just be because theyre daystate i take it? I was going to get another couple of 10-shot magazines for mine so that i dont have to keep re-filling mine after 10 shots, so i could have a few ready in my pocket but theyre 40 quid a piece!!!! Cheers, thats all i wanted to know mate. I know it wasnt cheap, my old man got it me about 2 years ago for my 17th birthday as my old jaguar .177 was ancient. Ive got the divers bottle and a decent scope but like i say i just havent had chance use it properly. My new years resolution is to get some permission and fill the pot!!! Thanks again, Gaz

I think i know the sort you mean. I have got a 1 million candle power one i used to take fishing, with the battery built in and im fairly certain they are not powerful enough for lamping. I am by no means an expert though. If im correct then the purpose built 'lamping' lamps have an external battery pack dont they? Gaz

Thanks to all above replys. Im not sure if this has been covered already - but regards collie/greyhounds. What are the pros/cons of beardie collie/greyhounds over border collie/greyhounds?? or a mix of both. Is there much difference regards ability or is it mainly apperance? Thanks again, Gaz
