  4. Id say put more work in front of him and dug him more than once a day like the other lads have said it will either make him or break him. I got a black dog here he is 8 now and fully retired he started hard and stayed hard and I put a serious amount of work in front of him.

  9. i had midland demon semi auto for about 3 years always had a problem with the smaller cartridges jamming and the pins kept coming loose generally not a good gun. you get what you pay for

  13. i think that lurchers have become more popular because of the bull x and the image they get. but i also think the standards of lurchers nowadays has dropped
  14. you've got to start some where but starting on you're own is a bad idea. its always good to have someone with some experience to help you through, you learn alot by watching the experienced lads and how they go about things, isnt there a working terrier club near you that you could join? as for self preservation i good dog doesnt give much thought to that and will stay until the job is done, you put them in you dig them out.
