  4. here we go again this thread has been done to death and to be fair never gets boring! i do believe that if the tories get in we will see the return of fox hunting but only by the way of licence! ie. £20,000 per year and you can hunt fox! wonder who this will be available to! load of balls the hunting act as it is doea not work and to be fair that is fantastic, fair enough we get a bit of shit from the rozzers when out lampin or coursing but have a look at the amount of people doing it and the amount of people prosecuted bet there is less than 1 percent! everyone still doin there bit and the
  5. hi i run a golf club so regulary lamp it, most we ever had off it is 5, the rabbits are the fastest you will fid the ground sits them as is usually well cut and gives them good clearance and ius usually surrounded by rough grass on the perimeter so always a way out, there are a lot of obstacles too bunkers trees ponds and posts very easy to injure a dog, i would only ever use my old bitch on there as she was a bit wiser to them all and spending a lot of time there she knew the ground well! will take an exellent dog to do double figures on a mature golf course! jonny

  15. cheers fellas! its great to have the old girl runnin again! i been runnin a dog that only just startin on the job while she been with pups and every night been a trainin session if you know what i mean! and tonight was just so easy goin! dont think i knew how much ive missed her till tonight! hardly even felt the rain was that good could have stayed out all night!
  16. went out tonight with the rain comin sideways, took my old bitch out for the first time since she had the pups, and they were 8 weeks yesterday! firt stop golf club first slip picked a sitter out of its seat from a 50 yard slip well chuffed with her! no more bunnys on there so we moved on up the wolds to another spot, water was runnin down the paths and rain was still comin heavy, 3 more slips and 3 more bunnys for old boots, only got one more run and my mates young saluki cross bitch nicked that one off boots nose with a great strike! so a final tally of 5 in 2 hours was more than was expect

  19. the way i read it he imprinted her with the idea of AI her to create a hybrid! dont think he means she is a hybrid! sounds a very noisy idea to me and also a big bird like that being an imprint is askin for trouble when at flyin weight and hungry! one little strop nd its eye patch time! lol! imo. good luck with sale could make good breeding stock but out of interest hy would you hybridise a harris, cant see how you could add anything to it to make it better at what they do without adding vices that you dont need! the idea was to breedsome goss x harris as i had a finnish male but thats n
