I did a horrendous faux pas once,I was about 18 and fresh out of Sunderland where my definition of fine dining was an egg on my beans and chips.

in Paris in a resto and the waiter put a saucer with a small bowl of clear liquid a slice of lemon, and a napkin beside me,I thought “Ah,Clearwater soup?” So I squeezed the lemon into the bowl and drank the finger bowl.

I've done similar - thought "when in Rome..." and started dipping my king prawns into the lemon water 🤣

i think it was a good year in most places Mack, we had loads of garters here, we have them in our potting shed, we often found there shedded skins up to 2ft long, my wife put her hand in a bag of compost and there was 3 of them curled up in there...lol, i also saw a hawk fly over with a snake hanging from it's claws....i looked up that rattle snake as i didn't know that they existed here, like you say, they are really rare nowadays and on the endangered list, i saw program along time ago, this girl kept some sought of deadly venomous snakes and amongst others as well, if i remember right she got carless and got bit, she was dead in no time...my first thought was...why would anyone want to keep that sought of thing in there house in the first place....snakes like that, big pythons, and fancy spiders should not be in houses in my opinion....

Wouldn't want one anywhere near my house...

Yep I got stuck behind that lot earlier, I still can't get my head around why they don't protest outside the buildings where politicians work, Welsh assembly or parliament. I work away long hours then have to sit behind fecking tractors for an hour..

Are these protests about the fact they won't get subsidies unless 10% of land is planted with trees?

10% for trees and another 10% for wildlife habitat which probably just means scrub & brambles

Imho, we are missing a trick with nationalism in Britain.

We already have accepted mainstream nationalism in Wales and Scotland, those party’s are in power !
However there is a toxic narrative around English nationalism…..so, instead of keep trying to be the blunt instrument we should be tapping into the nationalism that already exists and is accepted by selling a brand of British nationalism.

The nationalist mindset exists, people vote for it in Wales and Scotland….so these minds are open to that message of you are careful about how you deliver it.

Plaid Cymru isn't for the Welsh

There’s a road I drive from Aberystwyth down to cardigan on left hand side always rabbit sitting out on a gorse bank 🤣

That's the only place I see any sitting out, near the bends going into Llanrhystud.

Never see any elsewhere. Must be looking in the wrong place 😆
