Hunted birds in top of trees today

I actually had a first light hunt for fox. No fox and no people. To cold for them. Then this afternoon I found a few wild birds that have been around for ages but I've not seen them this season until today so I put a stalk in on them. One hour later I got a shot. The hen birds were on to me early but the cock birds were to busy digging for acorns. Twas touch and go and very cold. -
I'm managing to stay under 14&1/2 st ta. It's about 2lb. The rig is about the same as before mate.

So the 3-32 4k Wulf. Very good at night. Not a fan of daytime use. Good glass is better in daytime. Lots to get to grips with. If I take a video I can load it to the phone but the files are huge and watsapp can't handle them. That's beyond me! It froze on me once so did a hard shut down. It may need a firmware update. On the whole so far it's looking good. I did just miss a 200yd crow today but got a nice 100yard one.

On a side note, when you say you've taken over from the old lady shooting from her bedroom window, you don't mean you are now in her bedroom do you? That just wouldn't be right now would it ?

Bloody awesome mate and as I don't really go past 150yds the Wulf ir torch might be ample. The picitinny arrived today so I'll get it bolted up tonight.

I've not got the Wulf 4k on the wee rifle yet but have set it up and all I can say so far is....wow! Even got the app and can connect to me phone so a can bore every one to death with photos of it in action ?

I already have an add on . A sytong 66 and it is better than the pard I tried before it. I disliked the button layout and the image quality on the 007. It's to far back though. But if I push the scope forward it means it's not ideal in daytime without the add on. If I had a NV scope I'm thinking that particular rifle would be more ergonomic all the time. Next question.... What's the difference shooting under 200yds with HD verses 4k? I've watched videos and I can't see much in it. I mean I get it that it's not like quality glass one is looking through and in effect I'm

Some of you guys I've heard refer to sight mark wraiths. I see the wraith 4k ultra around £500. Are they any good? I'm guessing a picitinny rail would be needed for an 11mm grooved receiver??

I use senecot. But it's useless on fox's. Nice writeup Ian but hey, some folk just haven't got a clue have they. I was waiting on dusk last June for a fox raiding a chicken unit. Just when it was nearly to dark to see and the time for the fox to pop through the fence the bloody farmer, who lives in a house over looking the range, starts shouting with expletives at , as it turns out, an imaginary fox! I packed up and didn't return for weeks....sod it!
