To be perfectly honest I’ve never heard of white guilt before this thread, now having googled it I can see why you got that out of what I was saying lol Personally I can’t feel guilty for something I had nothing to do with and I certainly think we don’t owe them anything all these years later, but that’s not my decision!

I can definitely see why you moved away from it all, my problem is I can see I’m out of here soon, in dream land I’d sell everything I own and go to Phuket, rent a tidy little apartment near a beach for under 3k a year and make money doing matched betting online, the national minimum wage in Thailand is £240 a month and in 5 weeks there in January I made just under £300 doing the matched betting and I was only doing once or twice a week so doing it full time I could probably make £600 a month, pay my rent, fill up my scooter and live like a king over there......realistically what’s £600 a mont

Tbh I’d never heard about that loan, but 27k to your average Hungarian family is basically setting them up for life! Different way of life over there to, i stayed in a small town called tapiosczhcho for a week with a mate of mine from hungary who married his missis over there. The wedding reception was absolute madness, the whole village came out for a party and my mate said he had never met 3/4 of the people there before in his but it was like they had all known him for years! Like I say maybe I’m wrong, but that is one thing I must admit I miss about this site, obviously my long post wasn’t thought of at 3am in one go lol it is something I think about quite a lot tbh as it’s something i see quite a lot of! There are some areas of Leicester and Birmingham that are literally india or Pakistan now, Melton road in Leicester for one, but that said if you go down these areas (I work down Melton raps quite a bit) the people are just going about there business, doing their thing and living life like it’s there own country.......I just can’t help but think if we left them a

With all due respect it is for you to say mate! There is nothing wrong in saying you want this country to be better than it is imo but don’t be blinded as to why it is what it is. We all say the country is f****d yet just carry on paying 20% of our wages towards it so I’d definitely say it’s for you/me/everyone to have our say tbh. Defending them?
