  1. Hello, I'm looking for some advice please. I have a dog trailer the body is made of timber and is in good condition and well made. I'm looking to replace the axle and wheels. My first question is should I build a steel frame and bolt the timber body to it and then weld my axle/bracket to the steel frame? Or could I bolt two lengths of steel to the body of the trailer on the side and weld my axle/bracket to that. I was looking at using the suspension axle. It looks like it might be handier to fit. That's my second question is the suspension axle better than the leaf spr

  8. Hi, Any lads using this tracking system? How do you find it, any good? We currently use the Garmin, but a lot of the collars are giving bother and no joy getting them working. Thanks

  10. Thanks Meece, would I be better off getting the local garden repair man to do it or is it doable? Amy good online sites to get the parts? Thanks again.
  11. Well lads lawnmower up and running. Just like was said she smoked like f**k but is now running away grand. There was a smell of petrol from the oil that was drained. When finished with the mower should I turn off the petrol and allow the engine to run until it stops? Will that prevent that problem occuring again? While I'm here and if you don't mind I have a few other issues. The drive belt looks damaged, chunks taken out of it and the mower jumps forward when releasing the clutch. Obviously I need to replace the drive belt, but do I need to replace the pulleys? Also th

  13. Thanks for the heads up being stuck in lockdown with me hasn't been the easiest on the poor woman. Something like that could be the last straw, could drive her to the mental, haha Haha, if I could get it bawling like an ass and cutting grass I would be happy haha
  14. Thanks very much Yes, everything is getting drained today. What's the best way to clean a spark plug? Thanks
  15. Thanks for taking the time to reply lads, I really appreciate it. I will drain the fuel and oil and leave to dry and see how I get on. New spark plug bought do see how that goes. If all that doesn't work any recommendations for a ride on? Currently have a 13.5 castel that I bought second hand about 19 years ago. Thanks again
  16. Have you tried something like sodium hypochlorite. Spray it on its some stuff to shift stains. You might want to try some on a discreet spot first in case it stains.
  17. Thanks, now all I need is to get time to sit there and enjoy it now haha
  18. If in doubt ask the experts on THL. My ride on lawnmower won't start. I had a quick look through the engine Briggs and Stratton, The starter motor is working but the fly wheel isn't moving. I took out the spark plug and oil came flowing out. The fly wheel moves when the plug is out. I cleaned the plug and the engine made an effort to start. It looks like there is oil in the carburetor and the air filter. Is the engine f****d? Thanks for your help.
  19. Seating area I put in during lockdown
  20. Yep that's all we need an already under resourced force being stretched further to investigate something that doesn't occor very often. Meanwhile crime and theft is on the increase and not a dog in the country is safe, if we can believe everything we read
  21. Haha the description character, includes the good and bad. Nice teckel dog or bitch? How's it going for you, hunting well? Nice borders as well, always had a soft spot for the borders.
