    No I’ve not had a reaction like that on my dogs, it sounds like your dogs is allergic to that type of flea treatment, I use pet drugs online for my wormers & flea treatments much cheaper than the vets.i use advantage flea treatment £10 for 4 pipettes (4 months treatment) which I’ve found very good.

    If I had room for another dog then I would be very happy with one of collie johns pups ,as a mooching dog for me they would be ideal something that could be hunted everyday and like John said no one would give you a second look, I am sure they would catch enough rabbits & game birds for me plus biddable enough to take beating . Good luck with them John and keep us posted on there progress.

    The border terrier looked recognisable and the staffie looked like the dogs I remember in my area as a kid in the 70s but the rest were piss poor.border collies showed they are the most versatile of breeds in the agility which I didn’t mind watching as there owners have obviously spent a lot of time on there dogs.

    If you’ve not owned and worked a dog from Hancock or Plummer then how do you know they are shite? A few pages back you were slagging most KC bedlingtons have you owned and worked one of these? Ive had a Hancock dog which was a above average dog let down by getting lame a lot, ive had a terrier from Plummer who was one of the best dogs I’ve owned she was bright game,marked mole hills to Fox’s to ground,Plummer sold me the dog at the same price as everyone else sold that type, he phoned to congratulate me on how well she was doing after I sent pics of her doing various jobs,so my first hand expe
