  1. Looking at what set of whips I should get and was just wondering what you guys suggest and your thoughts on which lighted whips you’re running. If it’s worth spending $3-500 or are the $150 Amazon specials good enough. Thanks!
  2. Go with this 10X42 it is a better all around configuration. While 10X32 has its merits, lighter easy to carry, the 10X42 can be used under more varied viewing conditions. I've got a 8X32 and a 10X42 in the Conquest HD line. I've had them both about three years. VERY nice binoculars.
  3. It better to do abit research on google or i'll suggest to here https://guntrusted.com/. It's will help to take decision which one will better for you.
  4. I got an estimate from M&J Roofing companies South Jersey. They gave me an estimate on a repair as well as a full roof replacement. It was an older roof with two layers already, so I went with a full roof replacement.
  5. I use the Elusive Wildlife scope green light and the feeder green lights. I'm good up to 150 yards. Very good products for the money. https://www.ellettbrothers.com/ I have a friend that uses ATN thermal scope. He is good out past 150 very nice rig . If you have unlimited money go with the thermal .
  6. For around $150 USD you can get CRAFTSMAN CMEC6150K air compressor for home use that will meet your needs. They may not be as light, quiet or as well made as the one you are looking at.
  7. what is your intended purpose for the scope (hunting, target shooting, precision shooting, etc?). It will determine what people will suggest. Guys at Vortex recommended Vortex Optics Spitfire Prism rifle scope, which is budget friendly scope and has more quality and features than others.
  8. What do you want to do with your new scope? Hunt deer in the bush or shoot tiny groups in paper at extremely long range or something else? The vx 2 3x9 would be a perfect fit. not too big or heavy. I assume a hunting rifle so nothing too heavy would be on the top of my list. I prefer luep 6x for hunting. I found few reliable sources about rifle scopes through the internet, do the research on them. https://scopesreviews.com/best-scope-for-270-winchester/ https://www.outdoorsbest.com/best-rifle-scope-reviews/
  9. What do you think about Hawke 3-9x40? Its 50mm lens might be better for low light. I have two of them and they're great scopes.
  10. I'm thinking to getting a new long range hunting rangefinder for under $550.00 and looking for some suggestions. Most of my shooting / hunting in Florida or Montana, two very different places with very different terrain. I am currently looking for Leica 1200 , but if it is above the available price range, I need to know where to look for more.
  11. Hello everyone, I need to buy one dehumidifier in the very near future - Can anyone recommend the first experience? Is it effective / are you satisfied with yours? The first reading shows that your choice is between two final combinations: desinant VS compressor systems. Our main concern is noise, it seems that everyone is quite notorious. Another concern is, of course, the cost ... Thoughts are appreciated, recommendations are welcome!
  12. I think x-sight II is a good options for entry level setup...I have 3-14 X-sight rifle scopes and using it over 2 years I like it... It's seems very clear on a clear night, i can see 250 yards.
  13. According to your opinion, what is the best long range scope for a 308? I still in need for a long range scope.
  14. A member here made me a very nice kydex iwb holster for my Kahr CW9 (I have lost his information since then, Google's email has been deleted in one way or another. If I'm there, I'm still using the folder all the time) It currently has a nylon belt clip. But I'd like to swap that out for the snap loops or something that may hold it better on my belt. Any recommendations on who to purchase from?
  15. I have used the ATV gen 1 rifle scope with the IR thing on top for when it is pitch black..and your right when it is pitch black you can not see that good but the IR helps a lot!
  16. Nipped out to an old 13 acre pea field at lunchtime today only to find two tractors drilling wheat and rolling the surface. A few birds where around and of the 13 I shot, 5 where youngsters without neck bars. Hopefully the local woodpigeons and corvids will find the spilt seed and the last few remaining peas and we can have some good sport for a couple of weeks. Then home to dinner cooked by my son.
  17. I use a 1" nylon strap. A loop is wonderful thing for target shooting, but getting into one takes too long for hunting and a properly executed hasty sling hold is very steady. I use a couple of long beads of silicone seal on the inside surface in the appropriate area to keep it from slipping off the shoulder while carrying.
