  1. Any working whippet stud dogs around? For when I’m ready to get my bitch lined,would like something from sooty Sam lines? Something that’s fire on rabbits? Anything with sooty Sam bloodlines and strike while irons hot preferably

  3. Trying to train 3 your just asking for trouble get rid of 2 keep your favourite and concentrate on that one all your gona do trying to train 3 is give your self hard work and aggravation atb??

I had a little bitch collie whippet deerhound greyhound had her for nearly 5 years loved rabbits,she ended up jacking on one admittedly she did run it from the field up a concrete track,and jacked so a mate had her off me,his friend took her out with his boy said she run 4/5 rabbits caught a couple on the 6th or 7th run he slipped her and she wouldn’t even run so in my opinion I’d say yes once they do it they’ll do it again that’s coming from experience.

Thanks everyone for opinions and information only reason I asked is I have a pup bred down 4/5 generations starting from mick Douglas Norfolk lurcher lines and was just wondering what their all about as looking forward to seeing how this pup turns out he’s only 6/7 months old atm and hasn’t seen a thing will he waiting till next season before he does much,will he used mainly for ferreting and lamping rabbits but what I’ve read on here he should have potential the 4/5 generations on his dams side we’re all A1 workers so he should be alright??

  14. Yes mate that’s who I’m on about mick Douglas and his old breed of Norfolk lurchers as an uncle of mine had 2 from his line
  15. I’m not sure what you mean but no worries fella I don’t really know much about the breed just doing abit of research and seeing what everyone’s opinions are on them.

Yeah I suppose it’s just the title no different then if I put Kentish lurcher on pups if I bred them if it ever kicked off?but yes definitely lurcher to lurcher breeding is the way forward for good alrounders I think I am looking to breed my own line in years to come it’s just finding the right proven dog and bitch to put together and hope the litter clicks
