  1. I've used Renapur for years, I find it can be a little greasy though
  2. I've got a pair of Harkila pro hunter 12" they have been very good boots, they're comfy and really sturdy. I've heard good things about Meindl boots too
  3. Looks like you had a good day, nice bit of ground too. I've recently upgraded to the ferret finder MK3, I had the MK1 for years but it finally gave up early this season. How do you rate the MK3? I like mine and with it being bright orange you can't lose it either. Atb Vino
  4. Hey guys. Just wondering if anybody else uses a dog box for your lurchers when taking them out? I've only ever seen dog boxes used for gundogs and a few of my keeper mates use them. Anyway I decided to make one myself, it's not quite finished yet, I need to felt the roof and paint the door. My lurchers seem pretty happy in there and it stops the inside of my pickup from getting muddy. Here's a couple of pictures.
  5. I still use the Cluson Laserlight, I've had it 20 years and it's still going strong. I have changed the lead, been through a few reflectors and fair few bulbs and replaced the rocker switch on it. Hoping it will last another 20 years lol
  6. Give the dog a good rest, there's not much you can do for injured toes apart from pain killers and anti-inflammatories. Luckily we are at the end of the season now so you won't be missing any nights out etc with injury. Hopefully come next season she should have no problems although you may find that her injured toes remain a bit fatter than the others. So long as you keep her from running around too much in the next few weeks and allow the toes a chance to heal properly I can't see any reason why it should affect her in the future. 7. Hello boys and girls, Well I'm a newbie, I did have an account a few years ago but forgot the password. I'm from Kent, love getting out with my Lurchers and Ferrets and I also enjoy a bit of shooting now and again. I've been in the game a while so looking forward to sharing any knowledge and experiences with people. ATB Vino
