  7. View Advert Miroku 6000 o/u 12 guage Selling as gone to a lighter gun. 26 inch choked 1/4 1/4, broad sporting rib and adjustable but pad. tidy looking gun from outside but barrels light pitted end to end. has had some stick but lots of life left, ideal pigeon hide or rough shooting. ejectors work fine. £150 or swap decent air rifle, face to face certificate a must. Dn11 area Advertiser Snarepeg Date 22/12/20
  8. Yes it came of a Lightwood and son pedal powered so could have been late 1800s
  9. Just a few for Thursday pheasants, 30 gram 6s, just hope there's a bit of wind to help get the second shot away (should I need it)? the spinner head is pre WW1 and still makes a nice job. ??

  12. Graham. Have 12 bore parts from a Bair, taken over by Pacific or hornaday ?and am sure interchangeable. can check as have a 266. reg. john
  13. I reload spreader wads for full choke at close range, gives a sleet pattern when you require it. cut the barrel down years ago for same reason, ?
  14. Just picked one up in 177. it shoots spot on now I have removed the Titan spring for a standard one.
  15. Have a good Pacific 155 in 12 guage 70mm. with a full410 conversion kit for 65 and 76 mm loads. £100 . John. (Near Doncaster)
  16. For anyone going the add on route, which I have, after trying numerous scopes the best so far is a 3x9x40 Stoeger. its ginclear, even my ball bearings are visible at 25 yards, I know it isn't side parralex but it isn't dear iether, £55 but mine was second hand. now need another one for the HMR17.
  17. Half ounce clay loads 2.5 chambers but shot a lot of 5/8 loads in 3 inch with 12 grain. still loading at this, still here? This recipe was given to me when I bought the Pacific 266 set up for these loads and had been tested. John
  18. 10 grain of Blue dot , good 410 powder been useing this for 30 years .
  19. Shot size mainly depends on size of hole in dripper, but can also alter bigger or smaller slightly with weight of lead above or below dripper. also temperature can alter it slightly. its a learning curve but well worth the effort if you are reloading a fair amount.
  20. Have made shot with more deviices over the years, some good some bad and some .awfull. using a 150 volt 2 shotdropper from New Zealand borrowed from a friend. its dropping good 5/6 shot but changing the drippers to 7.5 for clays. lead is a mix of sheet and old piping, melted and cleaned and into ingots courtesy of wife's baking trays.? Will have go at getting some photos up after tomorrow.
  21. Have started to drop lead shot again. have dropped it for 50 years into Diesle on top of water, then had to go thru the cleaning process which was a pain. have been dropping into fabric liquid, with decent results and easy to wash of. just tried a run with cheap anti freeze and well pleased, it rinses of fine, shot good anough for game or clays . lead sources aren't as good as they used to be but it's keeping me in front on reloading costs. now where's the wife's colander ? Just need to siv it thru.
  22. No. 209 are not Magnum, just a standard type used in lots of clay/game cartridges. if yours are 209 fine. John
  23. I have a lot of black powder cartridge cases, they have 209 primers fitted so what's good for the factory should be ok.enjoy. John
