Can't get on with an LED always loose sight of quarry if it turns with no eye shine.

Parvo was going about my area not so long ago and killing dogs with and without jabs most off the digs didn't have them though, bothe mine got a little ill for around two weeks and am sure it was that but they where fine my thoughts are they would have been pts if they didn't have there jabs they can still get it but have a better chance of surviving with jabs. The vets must have been rubbing there hands with all the locals flooding in getting boosters and first jabs.

I've a dog with bothe collie and tiny bit of beddy in, acts like a collie when not workin but changess to a headstrong loads of drive twat when working sometimes.

Me and ma dad are thinking about comin over for the weekend from sunny Scotland. Ferry across on the Saturday and makin a weekend off it with with a couple o mutts. Saw some o the lads dvds good vieiwing.

Yes the local park there's no game atall and he's spot on comes straight back and his attention is on me, it's just nose to the ground and full speed anywhere there seems to be a scent. The gps is alll good and well doesn't stop the problem of hearing a gun shot and the worst or getting reported for an unruly mutt.

Not ideal if your just a wander wi the wife and she brings her pug, off mine goes she's left standing in a feild and me off after him.haha

A like a wander over the hills during the day and he's self rewarded working the woods which sometimes isn't ideal next to farm houses and public. Ad just like to have more control as in whistle and come call off the scent.

Recall on the lamp and up the local dog park is spot on just when out over the hills where hoofs have been he goes deaf.

He's 16 month, he takes offf for 30/40 mins sometimes which isn't good, he can work but would like to have him under control as in keep in the same feild.

Aryt folks a had a topic up few weeks back about ma young dog goin deaf on me when on scent (during the day) and hunting up woods he's got better but still not to a good standard as in couple o shouts and back, what's you lads views on electric/ vibrate collars for the stubborn recaller? Couple lads round my way say they work.

Makes me think when looking at these dogs the amount I must pass on daily mooches with the lurcher, lots of whins and patches of woood by me think I need one.

Also saw that documentary it was a long drawn out battle in the end they bothe just kinda stood next to each other exhausted can't remember actually seein the wolf end it though.

I'm the same, don't break the pup in as such just take them out when still young as don t have ferrets myself but a mate has, they soon realise what a ferrets for and to leave alone.

He's a saluki/grey/collie/grey mate am used to whippets he's my first lurcher he's been totally different from the start.

Haha ad rather get to him quickly if am local wi roads and public about. Hopefully hel calm down the more he's lamped on rabbits.
