  2. Seems strange that vet has said low vat diet - fat is an essential part of a dogs diet and is not detrimental to kidney function and actually polyunsaturated omega 6 fatty acids may slow the decline in kidney function
  3. Nice work - your dog must be soft mouthed, mine mark em bad if i could catch like that would make a fortune
  4. did you have another drone taking a picture of the drone
  5. the sycamore in the picture fell into church yard and they got some companies in for quotes and none would touch it we have been taking in chunks over the weeks and saw has coped great we had 2 ton on SAT so has paid back
  6. Had a wood day yesterday - £ Chinese saw still doing the business
  7. chalk and cheese its 38cc with a 14" bar and if you can by with it it probably will last 20 years good luck
  8. worked in Dalby late 70's thinning on contract and i had a saw in my hand all day then its a different "kettle of fish" balance and weight and durability are a requirement but to be fair this timber pro has a 62cc engine and for firewood its on top of its work plus for £.00 your guaranteed 2 years (warranty)
  9. bang on JD and the Husqvarna i was looking at was £700 i finished cutting the last of my wood needed for winter so at £79 it can go in the bin as it has paid its way - but its still going strong but if it packs up i will buy another so it might be "buy twice"
  10. Try these cheap as chips 62cc 20" bar although i put a 16" on and it starts and works great 2 year warranty i used to work felling and always had Husky's and was very dubious about buying but its been a corker so far http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TIMBERPRO-62cc-Petrol-Chainsaw-20-Bar-2x-Saw-Chain-Alloy-Assisted-Start-/281345101253?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4181798dc5

  12. JD has it spot on i have a D7100 and a D3 FX and my go to lens is 70-200mm 2.8 which i use mainly for working pictures and park coursing,i love the FX and the depth and clarity is fantastic but doesn't have the reach that i can achieve with the DX
  13. Ridgeback lets em in but getting out is a whole different nightmare
  14. Don't need to read it all - just this bit, this is not anecdotal it is scienticfic based evidence In dogs, however, high fat/low carbohydrate diets increase stamina. Beagles ran for 20 miles (140 min) when fed high fat (53–67% of energy) diets but became exhausted after only 15 miles (100 min) when fed a moderate fat (29% of energy) diet (Downey et al. 1980). A high fat/high protein diet containing no carbohydrate resulted in better performance and less evidence of exertional rhabdomyolysis when fed to sled
  15. More science In humans, high carbohydrate diets increase stamina because they increase muscle glycogen (Hultman et al. 1994). In dogs, however, high fat/low carbohydrate diets increase stamina. Beagles ran for 20 miles (140 min) when fed high fat (53–67% of energy) diets but became exhausted after only 15 miles (100 min) when fed a moderate fat (29% of energy) diet (Downey et al. 1980). A high fat/high protein diet containing no carbohydrate resulted in better performance and less evidence of exertional rhabdomyolysis when fed to sled dogs (Kronfeld 1973). A high carbohydrate (59% of ener
  16. Nonsense fella. I dropped all carbs out of my old bitches diet for a period of 6 weeks while working her and she just couldn't keep the weight on. Regardless of upping the meat and fat. Soon as I reintroduced carbs she was bouncing again and looked great within a few days. I know what science says about dogs not needing carbs. But sometimes trying things yourself and experimenting with what SUITS YOUR DOG is the way to go. Brown bread, sardines in tomatoe, honey and goats milk. Proper breakfast for a working mutt. Ok. If you disagree then why don't you enlighten us a little? Sci
