It wasnt just office furniture they assembled, the one I knew assembled electric circuit boards; basically push component “A” into hole “B”, place in plastic bag, put in box. More than likely fully automated now or done by kids in China.
Cheers.
The one near us made cardboard boxes.
I was too thick to get a job there

Bonfire night was brilliant, when parents weren't worried about kids being out in the dark.
Banger guns (old pipe bent over at the end, Little Demon in then a marble or a stone), raiding (going to other bommys and nicking their wood) and grown ups making treacle toffee and doing spuds in tin foil on the bonfire.
Happy days. Worse thing was having to have a bath every night instead of just Friday cos we were filthy and stinking of smoke

Seems like I’ve taken over where you left off ffs. Urology on Monday, physio on my shoulder on Tuesday, MRI scan for my prostate tonight and an Ultrasound on my bladder on Monday. Glad you are alright pal. Jok
Well I played (walking) football on Tuesday night and had my second dose of immunotherapy on Wednesday, done another 12 hour shift today and out on the piss at weekend.
I'm still gonna die but it won't be of boredom.

Ps….apologies, another mark deducted for the spuds…they also look tinned…up your game please
Correct on both counts, Batchelors tinned peas and carrots and spuds.
Cooking for one with no idea what time I'm gonna eat makes it easier, plus them spuds are the best out there, like Jersey Royals
