  2. Always have a soft spot for Doncaster. Spent 3 months working there in 89 and actually had a kickabout on the pitch, you could just walk on through a dwarf wall along one of the sides.

Renault Fuego? Came close to buying a couple but by the time they were in my budget were 1 step away from the scrapyard and held together with bodge and old newspapers, interesting looking cars though. Before car designers started using the postman Pat van as their inspiration.

Used to work with a bloke who had one, 1980ish, crazy car, think you had to drop the rear axle to change the exhaust or something mad like that?

Although that was his greatest hits, he as fitted he was bored of the song!

Had all his albums and know all the songs off by heart.  A genius song writer.

R.I.P. Steve, I loved your music.

  5. I'm due to retire at the end of August. Just sorting the money out to pay off the ex Mrs and should be good to go.

My life expectancy isn't great so at least I'll have enough cash to have a decent lifestyle while I'm still here 😁

    Cheers, D.

  6. Diana, had closed the pub for the night and watched the story unfold on Teletext.

911, was diving down the M5 after a trip up north and listening to the radio, Chris Moyles didn't know what to say.

    Cheers, D.
