Trust me there is plenty about, I've got a 8yr old dog and never let anyone use him or used him myself and he's seen more graft than a hell of a lot of the shit out there, even one of my pals bred out of the two shittest dogs I've seen which I told him ! Got 350 a pup lol, Only breed for when your in need. I bred a litter of beagle spaniels and gifted them all away to mates cost me a small fortune, didn't have the heart to sell them. Two here now flying. Seen a lot of graft for there age and going well. No point breeding for the sakes of it, to make a name for yourself or to make ££££££. Not

Lee I must be doing things wrong anyone want to buy some beagle xs think I'm going to get a kennel full of spaniels instead they sound amazing. Ps I'm out some lads crave the attention in the bushing game wanting fame ! Im happy sitting in the background having a laugh the comedys great on here! Good luck with your pup mate maybe someone else might be able to give you more info on there experiences but that's what's worked for me, ffs deffo don't be taking it lamping hates and rabbits lol

No special treatment needed mate if you follow what I said above imo you shouldn't go far wrong. Helps if they see other dogs in cover aswell never force them in! Got to be all there own doing. Id let her grow a bit if I was you get a few months of growing under her belt maybe do a little bit back end of season.

To young for me that personally pal it's hard going that cover I find they feel the thorns nettles etc on there soft pads. They can start speaking at anytime really I had two sisters one speaking about 6 1/2 months the other about 10 months both had the same amount of work.

Yes pal Start them doing little bits at around 6 to 8 months obviously you can start them older depending when they where born the season timing etc. take them best spots you know that got a good chance of holding, don't over do it with them working them for long periods, Just work it up gradually. I find that way your not working them to hard so they dont give up out of boredom when there's nothing about. Second season I'd be leaving them out all day. First season to me is just building there confidence up and giving them the best experience posible to make the grade.

I'm sure she'll do you well mate and put plenty gear up for you. Still makes me sick I never took rousy tho ! would of loved to of been in a better situation at the time. Them bull Cockers you bred where descent animals! Also Mud just remembered a dog I seen when i went to Scotland few year back work with a pack of beagle xs got left behind a bit but put in a good shift liked the sharp end also and wasnt a bad dog tbh.

My pals had a good one years ago but still better options out there for the fox game if pure spaniels where that good put it this way I'd have a pack full of them !

Hope you get it back soon, happened to us few seasons ago got tek2's and never looked back couldnt live with out them now. Takes all the worry away when hounds are out of sight.

Do you guys have bushing packs that hunt both rabbits and foxes ?

I couldn't think of anything worse than dogs chasing bunnys about on a fox drive, getting every one pumped up to see a little fluffy jump out in front of them?. Luckily I can go out every day and bush reds if I wanted as there's plenty around me, there's an old boy feeds seven every night by his feet, problem is I get bored of them as it's to easy , prefere to be out in the sticks where they have to work harder to find them.
