    I,m just a bit hyper mate couldn’t stay in the same place for a week, that’s why I,m getting a motor home this winter when the prices drop again

    Did have mates when young but when you come home from school and find your house packed in the back of a van and family waiting to go because we were moving again you kind of get used to not getting to attached, done lots of fighting and thieving there’is always a pecking order and when your the new kid all the time you start at the bottom but totally agree with the second part and have spent months of my life driving my children to everything I possibly can and will do the same for the grandkids

    Have a meeting later on today with some film makers they are typical city folk but as the documentary they are making is in Glastonbury they have chosen the legendary roger Wilkins cider farm for a meeting things could get very messy I,ve drunk this gear all my life and am aware of the dangers but I can see a few people spewing out the nose by the end of the meeting lol

    Bit of a loner me have a few reliable good mates but spend 95% of my time on my own and got much worse in my older years I used to walk out of school at PE lessons unless it was swimming, guess a lot of it was down to my parents never trusted my old man and never had any form of encouragement from my parents just put out on the street from around 12 to get on with it so was probably the reason I learned to look after myself and not trust others, my own kids are all much more rounded because I encouraged them to take part in as many activity’s as possible girls did gymnastics netball hockey kic

    Sounds like time to build an ark, but joking aside ground water don’t always go to the bottom of the hill, my brother in law Wes a driller and soil sampler he tested the ground before building commenced and I remember a few occasions were he has hit water on high ground there is a golf course near me that’s way above any low lying land pretty elevated but a couple of meters down he hit what must have been an underwater lake the gusher was immense, you can have a solid crust of a meter or two with water underneath so the builders may have breached the crust, most of portishead is built on a cr

    Gets a bit boring towards the end cutting logs, I love it in sept/Oct but by March April the novelty wears off a bit and I look forward to not re lighting the fire every morning
