I’m more than happy with the 6.5 and I won’t be losing any sleep over the new yank wank cal... the only reason they rave about the creedmore is cos it’s bench rest bollox.. they take there safe zone loads for 6.5x55 from the strength of pre war rifles! more room for powder more welly?

cash is king, if he was a stunnig bird I might of gone the payment in kind root there a bloody good setup and the build quality is something else but it was to heavy for my mega treks.. its only been out of the cabinet once since I bought a Bergara 6.5, I like to shoot into dark and first light so the 6.5 covers all bases for fox and freezer!

The cat was sub 12 in .22 brilliant for farmyard ratting and the woods! i traded it in when I got my ticket, the lad at shop gave me what I paid for it so the impact didn’t hit the wallet quite as hard?

Your spot on with the 007’s ls, no good if you’ve got a good scope on.. I sold mine as I’d rather use a good scope till last light. ive got a perm just like yours, the more I shoot the more seems to come back next year.. I take photos to show them cos it looks like I don’t do anything? had hundreds off there last year and picked up the land next door that’s rife and holds a few foxes too? ?you get it, it’ll make for some good summer nights

Got to confess I don’t miss them continental shifts.. it was a cushy number at pindar’s though could do winter on the presses and summer laying bricks? yeah there’s some mint land over that way, few of my mates beat over there and me local shop owners got his own mini shoot there too. been thinking about reloading for the 20, like doing it for me centre fires.. gives me something to do when I’m board? ill let you know how the fettle goes if I don’t blow myself up?

Now Tom.. how’s it going?! You been hitting the fish for the last few months.. I wouldn't be put off the cocking on a cricket and your in the best part of the country to pick up a second hand bargain with them being sold at Cheshire gun room,,,, always liked the crickets but I can say I really miss my wildcat and have been tempted to go get one in .25fac yeah there only an 8 shot mag but there a doddle to fill in the dark compared to the impact mag. impacts are good but to expensive if its going to be sub12. know a few lads who buy from Krale, you can ask them to sub 12 stuff and they will but you'll also get the bits that they swapped out

yeah I can understand that, I have mine on the lowest settings and use a spotter then just use the nv for the shot. sold me 007 and the 008 stays on the impact, use the lamp on the bigger stuff all the time the photon batterd my eyes that much one night I walked miles to the wrong farm

think thats the one my mate was on about the other day, he was on about one wrapped in hessian and slung in a lake for a month or so and they took it out shook the water out of it and started using it again straight away

ive fcuked up 3 in the last week.. first one sat night, was focusing on rabbits but new there were a few foxes about.. was walking up a bank and clocked one walking on the downside away from me so thought id head him off and lost him,, called for a bit checking the woodline nothing.. till I turned round and he was sat behind meno shot on as he took off toward the main rd! sunday morning watching two getting it on thought id see if I could break up the party.. one snook up and barked at me, it was that close I could of thrown me gun at it if id had it in me hands after the mornings

ive got the extrema 2 like Ian above, I use it for everything from fox and geese to hide days! I only got it as I went to buy an x400 and thought this aint worth the money, the stock on the one I looked at was shite, they laser etch the grain in the wood and for the money I thought it was taking the piss... from what I can gather the 400's basically the same as the older extrema cos it worked so well. my mates a big maxus fan and wouldn't buy a Beretta he recons they dont fit him, hes about 6'4 though

It’ll definitely be getting a lot of use sl, it’s hard to describe the sound.. it’s certainly not loud. as for thick skin I’ve had women screaming at me before and I bet the police are sick of all the calls.. I’ve been grassed up for looking shifty with binoculars ? it’s nice not to have to use any ear plugs too?
