    Out the day with the stinkers .Had the body warmer on but after ten mins it was getting to warm when the sun got out .eek.png It is november isn't it eek.pngeek.png

    Did about dozen sets got rabbits out of most of the ones at the start ,Best set we got 6 with the first grey one then next set another grey one .There were plenty of them bunnies running around when we were doing the sets .Never lost a single one the day and only one dig 2ft wink.pngwink.png.

    Wish i had caught as many fish as rabbits this year eek.pngeek.png.Or even seen as manytongue.png

  7. Last Two Day

    Well went for 1pm on sat with Jordy .Did in total 6 sets ;);) with all of them having rabbits in them :D

    The big double red /yellow net on the top right of the pic ,Jordy went to put one of the ferrets down in and just as he bent down to put it in the rabbit bolted and he got smacked on the hand :rolleyes::rolleyes: He said it was running fast and it was sore :eek:

    One bolted out of another set and i was too slow :o:o it slipped the net and went back in ,We ended up digging that one out .
    Few set later and it was 4.30 and daylight was fading .Ended up with 14 :D and one lost :(

    ]Out myself the day went to a field with all the sets in the middle of it as i was by myself ,All sand sets looked well used but after 2 hours no one at home .So back to where i finished of yesterday on other permission first set tree set bolted 4 lost one ,They were doing a bit of rumbling in the tree then couple sets later got 4 out of a two hole set had to dig one 2ft down but was nice easy digging :p
    [up with 9 the day a few of them were 3/4 grown ,Why are we getting them at this time of year :confused::confused: Global warming
    The we poley needs a bit of training still but I'm sure she will learn :D

  9. First Day With The Young Uns

    Well decide to have 4 hours the day oot with the stinkers wink.png two newbies to the game this years 6 months old cola & snowy wink.png; snowy bolted two but cola still no sure what she's down there for i think , auld stink worked and bolted the rest .I guess she will have to give the young uns a few lessons .one sett took the nets of too early and when the auld yin stayed down to long i knew there was something in rolleyes.png then out bolted one and ran back in another hole to the same set so a couple of nets back on and got one and lost another .The other helper needs a bit of a lesson in the art of being quiet Jordy .But ended up with 9 so canny complain .Rabbit stew the mora tongue.pngtongue.png Told his mam he enjoyed his day out nice to have a bit of father son bonding wink.pngEven if i had to tell him to keep being quiet ,He was shouting theres a rabbit get it dad ,Bless him biggrin.pngbiggrin.png

  13. 3 hours yesterday

    well got let down by my mate yesterday :huh: so decided to go myself for a while at 9am. me dog 2 ferrets and a pocket full of nets first set lost 1 because of bad netting :hmm: will have to show the dog again :icon_eek: then got another next set two quick bolts then onwards a single bunny then 3 out of a 3 holer then nowt in the next one next set one bolted dog got there first but let go before i got there and away it went :huh: so by this time it was 11with 9 in the bag went a wander through a wee wood for an hour and got another 2 so called it a day will 11 for three hours no bad so will get a stew out of some of them .

    i took my 3 yr old last year :victory: his mam told me not to tell him i was killing the bunnys :hmm: so first one i got , :) necked it and took it over to him , told him it was sleeping but he turned round and said no dad its dead you killed it :o:yes:

  19. KITS DUE TONIGHT

    well its been a long 42 days but its finally arrived the little ones are due early hours of the morning and stocked up the freezer for them plus the farmer said i can take the magpies out of his traps for ferret food hoping to get a couple of good workers out of the bunch will try and get a few pics up of them cheers DM :victory:
