  1. Hawke have just launched their version of the Nitesite nv system, I thought you would want to know Mitch...............................
  2. Welcome aboard Anthony but I feel you may be a little late on this one, in fact 9 years to late not that it matters, just join in. Phil
  3. There are a few companies who make a chassis for different guns that are used for specialist target shooting so it may be worth looking in that direction as the only place likely to have them is the in target shooting world. Phil
  4. Ideal for a bit of fun in the garden and possibly to fit a 'Tin Bum' kit to get the best out of it. Phil
  5. I could not agree more Mitch, a very lucky lad, I still want 1st refusal though if you sell it. Phil
  6. My buddy has an SMK something or other pcp pistol, which has already taken a number of rats, squirrels and rabbits but all at 10mt which is a set distance from his office window to the boundary and he uses JSB Exact RS which are the lightest pellet in their range and does a perfect job. Give them a try. Phil
  7. Interesting thought Pete and one I may do at a later date. As I get older I find the longer gun to be too heavy, not the case with my shotguns but moving targets are a different situation neverthelss it would be worth borrowing a few guns from the rfd, fitting diopter sights and see how we go. Phil
  8. I agree the pheasants in Chatsworth are extremely tame, I spent many hours there with my girls who loved watching all the deer, we keep talking of going back over and taking a walk round there and Bakewell. Phil
  9. Cheeky pair of barstewards, I have never jelled with those fcuking twangy guns. What a wonderful idea Neil you are clever, a piece of card to see the groups and try different pellets, well who would have thought of that ....................... and yes I am a shit shot with a springer unless in a full benchrest position but I really don't like them. The only springer I really got on with was my TX 200hc, superb gun but too heavy to walk round with. Give me a pcp any day of the week, I have taken hundreds of rats and rabbits freehand with my FX Wildcat / Impact fac. I said 20mm Mitch
  10. I wouldn't shoot them with a sub 12 but have done with my fac air on a few occasions.
  11. I would have thought that you would know this after taking Ethan out shooting for some years Jimmy but my two penneth, HW30 or an s/h Ultra but there again there must be something in the Kral range for not a lot of money. My 9 year old grandson using the trigger stick tripod used that P35 I had pretty well, shame it's sold. I am sure you will pick the right gun Jimmy. Phil
  12. With more than 25 years use, my two Conoflex Flattie Fanatic sea rods were needing some TLC and more so a rebuild was on the cards. I stripped all fittings, threads and varnish taking the rods down to blanks then passed them on to an old friend of mine who enjoys earning a few quid on a hobby which makes old rods look like new. I should say these are exceptional fishing rods that punch way above their weight, not distance rods but fantastic FISHING rods and even though they are only 11.5' they have landed some decent fish over the years. Tonight I poped to our sea wall to see if there wa
  13. A couple of weeks ago following a 'wanted' asvert in the sales section of another forum, someone was wanting an HW35, told him of mine and he bought it. Last week I decided to sell my P35 / WTC scope as they got very very little use and within a few hours it was sold, packed then posted the next day. Now I do have a BSA Mercury springer with a tinbum kit in and it does shoot quite well, in one of my trees in the garden I have a pellet tin hanging so when the starlings come calling, scaring off all the other birds, I shoot the can which scares them off but the other birds seem to know it is to
  14. NOW SOLD guys but thanks for looking. Phil
  15. THIS ADVERT HAS EXPIRED!

    • For Sale
    • Used

As the title, I have my P35 .22 pcp for sale, manufactured date 17 - 3 - 21 and is printed on the original box the gun will be in. I think it would be fair to say a max of around 2000 pellets has gone through the gun and is in very good overall condition. The reason for the sales is that I simply don't use it other than a bit of plinking in the garden as all my hunting is with my FX fac gun so nothing wrong with this. Also with the package is one original 8 shot mag and two 11 shot Calm mags which are superb. Included in the sale is a Huggett mod but also the rifle comes from the factory with a series of aluminium shimms and shroud cap but I preferred the set up with a replacement inner felt tube and final mod, it is a two minute job if you want to revert back to factory set up. There is also Philippines manufacture White Tail Classic scope, 1.5 - 5 x 20mm WA, model number 800051, fitted with Butler Creek flip up lens caps. The package price is £365, can be collected from North Lincs or posted. Please note this is advertised elsewhere so first come first served.

  17. My good friend had his licence revoked 5 months ago without full and detailed reason other than saying he lied on his renewal which we cannot work out what the lie was and that he has a medical condition......................... My friend has shot from the age of 9 on the farm where he lived and has no idea why he has lost his tickets but it has had a devastating effect on him. I know I have digressed but this whole situation causes concern for most shooters with legally held guns. Phil
  18. You are not really trying to tell us you are less of a prick now are you Mitch Phil
  19. I have a 'The Huggett' on my P35 for garden plinking and it is not bad in terms of being a mod, not in the same league as an HW mod but I had this lying around in a spares drawer so I am just making use of dead stock. Phil
  20. Very nice Pete, love the diopter sights. I used them on my old Air Arms 200T for bell target shooting and loved them but not so easy to set up in my humble opinion but I am sure that was just me being an idiot. Lovely guns as well, just sold my HW35 as I never used it but when I look at yours with the diopter sight, I wish I had gone that route and used it for target work.........................oh well, a good reason to keep an eye open for something else. Phil
  21. A few months ago my wife decided to sell her ATA o/u shotgun, it did a good job on the clays but the balance was a little front end heavy and the top lever was a bitch to open even for me so it went. Now about a month ago I borrowed a Yildiz Pro Black, 30'' o/u with both internal and external chokes for my dearest to try out but for various reasons she didn't get round to it but I did and found it to be a very nice handling gun which retail around £2700. Now with only a few weeks to go before we are off to John Bidwell's Highlodge for a week clay shooting, fishing in the lake 20 feet in
  22. Don't you love love stubble for both pigeon and bunnies. Nice shooting there sir..... Phil
  23. This whole situation is getting out of hand, my surgery charged my wife last year £49 so I can live with that. My youngest daughter's boyfriend and his father need to renew their SGC as they both run out on the same day and their surgery wanted £300 each ! ! ! ! ! ! WTF. Needless to say they have done it through a third party for £60 each. I think if I were you Deker, I would be adding the club guns to my fac as it seems to be a hell of a lot of cost and messing around particularly when you think all the applications / renewals are set (by the sound of it) to get very tricky indeed.
  24. The unit with the gyro readout is now sold, the one on the left in the photo. Phil
