Brilliant to see mate. Doesn't surprise me hearing about Loki to be honest,that whole litter have been suicide runner's from day one from what I've heard from the owners of other's, plus my own two idiot's & what they've put both themselves & me through G..they just don't see danger at all in anything they do,they are totally oblivious to it or they are just plain fooking stupid 
hope life is treating you well down there bud,I've said it from the day I first met you,your an absolute gentleman & one of the very best people in this game. I couldn't of hand picked anyone better to give dog's that I bred a better life,I know how much care & attention to detail you give them,they will never want for anything. Top man,now do the right thing & get them two mated together,you know it makes sense

I really would love a pup off the pair of them but the Mrs would kill me at the minute. I spend quite a bit of time working away ( 8 trips to the USA this year ) and she has said she wouldn't look after a pup for me but we shall see.

A place I used to run near leyland up in Lancs had rabbits so fast they often straight lined the dogs, only thing that caught regular in those small fields was a mates whippet greyhound. I have a fast bitch here and she was straight lined four times in a row last time I was up there, fields like bowling greens and 1—2 acres . Took a good dog to catch em

Good to see you back on here stranger! Good to see Boots still going strong and the kids grafting away. My two have had their best year since I recently moved south but by Christ Loki has put some bloody scares into me including a head wound that took 4 weeks of antibiotics to start to heal. One thing I will say mate is that you breed some dogs with drive and game as ! Like I said good to see you back and hope you are well

My lad is possibly the most well mannered dog I’ve ever had. He will walk away from another dog big or small but a different mood when working. My bitch with Irish terriers in her is a nightmare though. Only once had trouble with the big dog when a rottie tried to mount him and feck me he is quick when he needs to be. Wouldn’t have him if he wasn’t as a 41kg dog that’s sharp with others would be a nightmare

my lighforce 170 dimmer I’m finding is lacking a bit at the minute and the price of the 240 dimmer if you can find one is harsh. Also like the light weight of this but before I drop the coin was wondering if others had used?

Apologies to any of the lads who have messaged etc, I have been away and back now.
Meetings are held last Thursday of the Month at the Bay Horse Inn, Bay Horse Lancaster. We have our own room for the eve and the reason we have kept the location quiet is so that we can monitor numbers as they have had a strict covid policy in place. They still insist on masks when moving about in the venue and as they are doing us a favour it has been hard to just make it public in case we get vast numbers turning up so I hope people understand.
Memberships do run Jan to Jan but tbh, it's now the start of the season and even at £3.33 per month for the rest of the year I think it's worth it.

It's a good bunch of people and at the end of the day it's all about the dogs, no egos, no attitudes and all are welcome would just appreciate a mail or message so we can let the venue know.

I was a teen going to those shows, proper crowd and the lads that owned the pits put some work into them and with them, that you could see. Scared the life out of me some of those dogs, no wonder they bred some great first crosses.

Older bitch has done ok, tried a few things and apart from a bit of yelping when she got nibbled not taken a step back. Big lad has come on well, done everything asked from him and not a fault. He isn’t a great rabbit dog though some days he misses little. Not much game around local and not able to travel has hit us hard.

A good bedlington based runner would be my suggestion, for what it's worth!
Possibly pointer cross lurcher going over her in. season or two. Would have been tempted to put the big lad over her but too close or might speak to Davey about one of his Bedlington Crosses and keep a bitch back to eventually breed to the dog.

Border Lakey type here, he was ten weeks old there but nearer 6 months now. He is bred for allsorts but all worker to worker though reminds me of the old type fells I used to have back in the mid 80's.
