  1. I was told yesterday around the May period..
  2. Well I have a load on order and we will have them as soon as they hit the UK
  3. What's the damage (£) for these mate? Tremo £419.99 Delivered. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/store/night-vision/night-vision-rifle-scopes/yukon-photon-xt-6-5x50-night-vision-scope.html
  4. We should have the photon new XT 6.5x in stock around 4 weeks time so if anyone wants to pre order for first in line I'll post a link soon, just a heads up as these will be available here before most places.
  5. Personally you can't beat the HD38S for the money
  6. Thats the major downfall with nightvision, the HMR helps a lot..........although the LRF870 does away with any guessing
  7. I've tried at present T20, T50, T67, NM800, X Searcher, Wolf Eyes Seal, N1000, Pulsar X850. The easiest to adjust mount and everything else I have mentioned is the X850, its not the most powerful out of the mentioned torches, but its way more than needed for a photon, and it's just so light, easy to setup and use.
  8. Just been in a similar predicament Cedric, I was tempted by the anschutz and weirauch, but I didn't bother, money wasn't an issue, I just wanted something that worked no fancy woodwork, etc. The weirauch has a nice trigger but the magazine and heavy barrel put me off, the anshutz trigger was nice but the lowest pull weight was 2 lb something, so it states and the stock would take a battering in the landrover.. I'm not a rifle tart, I just like a gun that works and does the job, so I opted for another CZ 452 16" in nickel finish with synthetic stock, fitted a trigger kit, nightvision on job
  9. Personally I really like the Pulsar X850 , it just works perfect. Adjustable weaver mount built in, adjustable also from spot to flood, adjustable power rotary switch, compact and uses AA batteries, when fully focused slightly less power than a NM800. Its ideal for a photon as you can turn it right down and the mount fits perfect, I also use one on a LRF 870 and its good, turned right down you can zero on targets easy without whiteout.
  10. Not really my place to put it up without seeing him first. There using single strand of brass on a swivel and quick clip..
  11. I've just watched some footage I had of Glenn & Phil whip snaring rats a good few year back and squirrel snaring, entertaining.
  12. For anyone with an iphone, try the Ruger iHunt app for a handy portable call, plenty of calls on it.
  13. Leave a comment on what features you would like to see added to a spypoint trail camera for a chance to win one from thomas jacks. https://www.(!64.56:886/ThomasJacksLimited/photos/a.588043241241828.1073741825.367829009929920/831390310240452/?type=1
  14. Legitimate question Pete, some people have the rules books shoved that far up there own arse they push it out the other end...
  15. The amount of people who have had ATN XSights and sent them back because there not as expected must run very high into the double figures, when you read across the forums, that should say something, along with the amount of problems they have had and still have.
  16. I'd avoid anything ATN mate, they have never been reliable, and more hassle than there worth, most distributors over here dropped them for this very reason, i.e NVGearUK and Thomas Jacks, so that speaks volumes.
  17. Dexterity is good enough to feel the indent of a Talpex trigger -rod set humble of the hole in the plate. They last Ok. To be hones,t they seem to be the same gloves that retail for £3.99-£4.99 anywhere else. All said might be a good glove for the money, but the downside being the are a bit more numb than the gloves I posted as they have a thicker rubber, they also are not fully waterproof, the showa ones are which I prefer as I use the back of my fingers to smooth runs, and most of the other types let water into the glove through the back which isn't coated. I've worn rubber disposab
  18. There great, I've put a few lads onto them, others are ok, but I find these the best..
  19. Will do.. Did you get a call yesterday, passed on your details.
  20. Is there anyone that knows someone called bolton or boldon around this area?
  21. Any of the nightmaster range or a wolf eyes seal are pretty good. The seal you can get for £100 with two different size reflector heads , its got a rotary adjustable power tail switch (procap) and the build quality is light years ahead of nightmaster, the inside is brass lined, the head is smooth to focus, etc, solid.
  22. I was speaking to Glenn.W yesterday and he's making good progress with his rabbit snaring books alongside JohnB and he's also well on with his longnetting book .. Something to look forward too in the near future, about time, he had to do it.. I've also been speaking to a friend from Norway and he's got a mammoth book on trapping over his lifetime that he's just had translated, I'll post some photos and info soon, when I get chance.
