Sensible suggestions ? My take on this, and it's only MY opinion, is , like "origami for beginners", two fold. 1; one moderator is biased, treating members differently and unfairly, and instigating or furthering arguments. What on earth is going on in here? Stupid gobbling off, personal insults? This is why a very knowledgeable full time pesty left after abuse once he became a mod, he was a wealth of information. Some of the best , most knowledgeable snarers, trappers etc all left because they got fed up with gobshites who knew nothing spouting off. My personal comment. How can we reach former members who no longer feel free to comment on hunting topics. Since I joined and enjoyed, immensely, both from the ferreting, box making and gardening topics, everything seems to have gone down the pan. Well, it’s been a busy week, I’ve managed to get out most days dodging the rain, the lad I took out on Boxing Day took me up to a private estate in Northumberland where someone we know has taken the keepers job on a wild bird shoot, we’ll be back up there over the coming weeks/months to help him out as the old lad he has taken over from hasn’t been keeping on top of it Ive also been back and forward to the shoot, the birds that are about look in really good condition and although we are limited on drives I think we could be in for a good day next Saturday, it certainly won’t be a big day

I think the word will go around amongst the private wealthy shoots that the current state of affairs is unsustainable. I had three years on a wealthy private estate under the old time keeper. I had total freedom of the 5000 acre estate. Shoot all vermin, trapping too . I got fuel, ammo and all the firewood I wanted.
