  6. That article is written by Peter tachell the bender rights campaigner who stormed a Christian pulpit in church pushing the arch Bishop of Canterbury aside. He was supported by loads off MPs and compared to the suffragettes because he was campaigning about human rights abuses. The arch Bishop later forgave him and apologised to him for any abuses he thought the church had supported. Perhaps someone can storm a mosque and push an imam aside to highlight human rights abuses in the history of Islam.....you would end up sharing a cell with Britain first and Tommy Robinson I reckon.

  8. I keep em reasonably fit all year so no worry about rhabdomyolysis etc if they get a bit of a runner early in the season ?. Remember it takes at least 10 weeks for bone and tendons to adapt after a lay off. Once they come out of season in spring build up to an average of about 10 to 15 gallops on a half hour beach walk a couple of times a week. Run with me 2 to 3 times a week, mainly off lead so usually get a few gallops in, mooch in the woods etc once a week plus twice daily park and they'll be ready for the winter. Then just fine tuning them on the lamp. One of multiple gallop

  9. I try to keep mine in fairly good condition most of the year. It is nice to know if they bump something up accidentally out of season I’m not overly worried about injury. I must admit I struggle keeping weight on my little dog in the winter when his work load is fairly high. Iv also noticed that he definitely runs better if he is on the lean side. Just seems that bit sharper. My first running dog so deffo still learning. Few pics of him at different weights. I’m also aware he looks under weight in the top pic. Had a spell where he wouldn’t hold any weight at all. Cheers

  11. The topic of summer hunting always brings out some comedy gold. Each to their own for sure. But it just shows you how absolutely desperate for a score some folk get, they obviously catch f*ck all most of the time so desperate to get anything. Always seems to be a hell of a lot of ‘pest controllers’ about in the summer but they seem to be less frequent in winter ? Same as farmers losing stock - f*ck me if you’re losing lambs from now you either have super foxes or shite sheep ? I know lads who will be flat out from now as soon as the hay starts coming down, when I say

  15. Well well well, the alphabet folk have turned their backs on the 'homophobic' Met - apparently the organisers and a bunch of other fruity organisations, don't want uniformed coppers prancing down the road with them on their special day - I do kind of agree - stick to the feckin day job. However, the forces hierarchy are still happy for them to do so. ......... funny that eh - they can do this in public and, they're allowed to unreservedly submit to a baying BLM mob but, they're not allowed to join a right wing organisation Honestly, I'd like Doc and Marty to dro

  18. Not digging at you, just a conversation, but I heard that type of stuff for years “Then men on the ground don’t support it”……and I always think “Well, why do it then?” Like, I couldn’t be a traffic warden or a traffic copper or one of these civil enforcement blokes if I was starving to death…..literally ! If they don’t like it, why do they do the job ? …….I suspect most lads here have always just turned it in and found something else when faced with something they didn’t like or that didn’t sit right so I don’t think coppers can hide behind that excuse. Its takes a certain ty

  20. Walking farm last night and I found 2 rabbit droppings. Yes 2 ! they weren't even fresh but I was over the moon. The place has not held a single rabbit at all for over 5 years. Prior to that we could pop out any night and get few runs. I find it really sad to see the place devoid of rabbits. Just not right. Fingers crossed they can recover.

I consider myself lucky up here to be under Cleveland firearms, they have always ( up to now ) been very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable when you ask any questions, there’s none of this, we’ll get back to you , the ammo thing with what you can hold is stupid, I bet what it says on my ticket is different to a lot of other peoples, I bet not one person has had a FEO counting rounds when they get a visit and on another note, the closed ticket thing also baffles me, why would someone who is deemed safe to use a firearm on one piece of land not be considered responsible enough to know if t

  32. Terrier whippet type sounds perfect to me no matter what the terrier as long as it has a bit of go in it. For catching rabbits at least with ferrets that is what you need. Rabbits never in the open more than few seconds ducking in and out. Slipping nets or what ever. No good having a bloody big blunderbus for that work though they will have a dam good go lol

  34. I’ve found that with my first cross beddy/whippet. Hasn’t got the speed to catch most rabbits, especially if they have a 50/60 yard start.. she has more success on the lamp but that’s to be expected. Great little bushing dog though and ferreting with the nets… she wouldn’t catch many without the nets though.

  35. We had arranged a riot on the last day. Several teachers were supposed to get hammered. Unfortunately a lot of the lads didn't turn up so we were short on numbers and we chickened out. We did manage a roar and a few expletives at the final bell. and one lad set No fond memories of the crack of leather upon willow I'm afraid.? We were all glad to see the backs of each other. I can only think of one teacher I rated, my English teacher. The rest were orrible, charisma free sadists.
