Back up on the moor after a few rabbits and my god I needed the walk out after this week, I’m really enjoying the .22 at the minute and pushing it further than I would normally, it was a modest count of 43 rabbits this evening as we spent quite a lot of time enjoying the oystercatchers, lapwing and curlews, these are the things you can enjoy when predators are controlled so up yours Packham ?9 points

I'm no prude. I've been around some sick shit on stag do's etc. Believe it or not I've been young, horny, pissed and full of drink and every other Persian rug going. I've never stood in physical contact with a mate while wanking. According to all laws of psychology....thats border line homoerotic defo6 points

These are three from the litter. The first was my bitch, the second was the chunkier male and the black and white bitch was the only non-merle in the litter. Hopefully this gives you some kind of idea of variety, but don't forget that all collies are different and so all their offspring won't necessarily be the same.6 points

Hi Brambles, I tend to stick to 2 sizes, smaller fits a standard A4 frame larger fit A3. Prices vary as to how long it will take, on my page a small head and shoulders starts at £35 but I do discounts for forum members so be a bit cheaper and i do deals when people order multiply pictures. Basically send me what you want and we can negotiate a price. Something really complex like the Highland ponies be more like £65 give or take a discount.5 points

I've tried this First Cross, Whippet/Collie lurcher on several occasions...? Temperament has nothing to do with the concept of such a hybridisation, but more so with the mind-set, of the individuals used... You get bold Collies and bold whippets,.. and also, the complete opposite, so as I always say, Temperament is King.? Many of the examples that folk term Collie/Whippets, are anything but,.. Collie/Whippets... Personally, I've never favoured the F1 hybrid, and instead, I prefer to use a wee bit of Whippet/Greyhound blood,...the resulting pups are still whippet-like in app4 points

I wanted a 177 air rifle again and stumbled upon a mint like new Walther Terrus. It's quite good but the trigger was to heavy, probably 3.5lb. On inspecting it was clear that the sears were in fact hooks! I stoned them but not much, barely discernable to the eye. It's probably 2.5lb and a slightly cleaner break. I'll see how it goes. 35yds off hand neck shot.4 points

Yep it's been glorious, water fights and swingball ? the kids weren't overly fussed on pork and chicken. Once the tomahawk came out later on a chopping board in was game over , I did it med/well done it was about 145° internal , kids smashed it as did missus, I had about four slices. I might do burnt ends with the leftover pork steaks tomorrow. Hope you feel better soon, be lots of BBQ days to come. I took today off work to make the most of it, too hot to sleep here.....2 points

Is there much difference in temperament between beddies and whippets? The whippets I've seen have just acted like leggy terriers.2 points

A woman buys a rod and reel for her grandson’s birthday. As she doesn't know which one to get, she just grabs one and goes over to the counter. A Wal-Mart associate is standing there wearing dark glasses. She says, "Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?" He says, "Ma'am, I'm completely blind; but if you'll drop it on the counter, I can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound it makes." She doesn't believe him but drops it on the counter anyway. He says, "That's a six-foot Shakespeare graphite rod with a Zebco 404 reel and 10lb test line. I2 points

I agree, it would be better to say protecting sparrows or thrushes which is a valid reason. Where do you think Packham and Wild Justice got all their information about illegal shooting from? Forums and shooting mags I bet. Just in the last few weeks I've seen a post elsewhere about someone needing to shoot 300+ pigeons to fill an order, supplying the food trade. Better to just do it and say crop protection.2 points
