My 15 yr old Grandson played in a cup final today ,had a good game ,I was already very proud ,there was a little family group from Portugal watching ,I think they had a connection to one of the players ,the old grandad walked over sought my grandson out and told him in broken English they thought he was very good ,pointed to the little group and they were all clapping him ,my heart nearly burst out my chest with pride .13 points

After a Full English at Cafe on the Green at Widecome we set off again from Bone Hill Rocks up to Bell Tor. Below us about 200 yard sorry about quality 2 Ravens at a dead sheep or lamb. All the time Cuckoos call way down in the valley. On to Chinkwell Tor just few hundred yards. Hay Tor from Chinkwell Tor Hound Tor from Chinkwell. Back to Bone Hill where we parked. Cheers Arry7 points

Well not sure if anybody is interested after Mack's post Lol. Up on Dartmoor near Hound Tor is Holwell Lawn about 20 acres of Blurbells just coming out. Cool breeze and misty quite atmospheric Cuckoo calling not far away but no chance of seeing it in the mist. I know where I am but not sure about her. Cheers Arry7 points

So, we are only a few months away now. Providing everything's ok with the site owners, we should be making our annual pilgrimage on Friday 19th to Monday 22nd of August. Who's coming besides Dido and Lurcherman Kev? Cheers, D.4 points

He OK with little woody, with bones, but that little shit the more dominant nature of the 2 dogs.he is deff at my property, the boss, but outside away from my property he different dog, he quite indifferent to people and dogs, Buck just the same anywhere big daft thing lol. I live in the backhills of Alabama and I love it.I have miles of rivers and creeks to hunt and fish.In my small town there is 2 gas stations.Neither one accepts credit cards or debit cards.Cash only. Most folks in America would call me a backwards hillbilly to which I would say thank you.Friday me and a buddy left the hills to go beach fishing. The first stop we made was a gas station with 2 sodomites running the place.I looked at my buddy and said,We aint in the hills anymore. The rural areas of Dixie has some of the best folks in the world and some of the worst. These same areas generally have t4 points

We had intended to retire to Cyprus. We had an apartment there and a lot of local friends. One of them moved to France and kept telling us that it was so much better than Cyprus. We stayed in his cottage a few times and realised that it suited us. Why? The weather, the fishing, the tranquility, but mostly the relaxed civilised way of life. For example I have customers with holiday homes who leave their patio furniture and ride on mowers out in full view while they are in the UK and it never gets touched. I park my car in remote locations while I am fishing and am confident that it will be unto4 points

Canelo started as a welterweight. He's very good but the fella was just too big and fought the right fight against him. If I was Canelo, I would skip the rematch. Pointless, unless the judges .......... well you know.3 points

Never mind the weight, bivol was FAR TOO GOOD for alvarez, during the whole fight. And, I've got to be honest, I think bivol will always beat alvarez, and is definitely a rising star, who I didn't really know much about.3 points

I don’t pay any attention to all that celebrity shite, and haven’t been following it but it is difficult to completely avoid. A terrible business, and a terrible idea washing your dirty laundry like that in public, especially when that public is hundreds of millions of people following every word uttered in court. Must be costing a fortune too, and the end result will be Depp’s a bit of a weirdo with drug and alcohol issues, and she’s a gold digging slapper.., but then I think we kind of already knew that?3 points

Well I’ve just got in from the show, no where near as much there as normal, but me, mosh and longshanx still had a good day out, met up with Robin ( foxer) and Dewayne ( wash wildfowlers ) and got a couple of quality shooting invites for the up coming season and after combining, didn’t really see anything that I wanted apart from a fox target that I’ve looked at a few times, so thought sod it and had a haggle and bought it ?3 points

I have only just started to use these pipes so just how affective they are i don't know. What i can say is within a day of installing it i had a fox on camera. It visited three times but was wary of it. It had obviously been attracted by the smell and that is all i need. It lets me know a fox is about , which area and a rough time. I have dug mine in 18" into the ground and depending whether you want crows picking at the bait through the holes or not will determine how high you start the 50mm holes. I thought the crows pulling little bits through may add to the attraction for a fox but o3 points
