I've got a couple of 5 month Springer pups I'm doing a bit of basic training with. A friend of mine is ill, so I'm giving them some socialisation and confidence building. They've been kennelled from day one and know nothing. They are pathetically submissive. They both get crazily excited when visitors come and literally piss themselves. 'Glee pee' I think its called.Trust my evil minded Mrs to use them as weapons against visiting politicians looking for votes. Soon as she knows they are in the area she let's them out to greet our beloved political masters. The result is they end up with4 points

I used to be critical of women's boxing. But Katie Taylor and others have changed my mind. I think they have shown they can fight and love to fight. Fairplay to them.4 points

O'Sullivan has singly handedly kept snooker in the public eye for years. Barry Hearn knows that, and that's why O'Sullivan gets away with what he does, no other player could bully the refs the way he does. Who would be watching and commenting on a final between, say, Selby and Williams ? O'Sullivan is the greatest of all time, even Hendry and Davis acknowledge that now. Whatever his foibles, he's compulsive viewing if you like snooker ? Cheers.3 points

Hell of alot more sporting than shooting them going about their business with a rifle and NV. .and leaving the cubs to fend for themselves....the most humane way of controlling them is with hounds,a terrier or a runner at night ..any mug can spend a few k and pull a trigger old boy?3 points

It's getting too much now ? come on, seediness on the mainland? Ha'way man, if you go looking for it your going to find it anywhere, but, it's not on every street corner, there's a reason LOS is such a popular tourist destination (and it's mot the Ladyboys ?), pre-covid Thailand was getting 40,000,000 tourists a year, they weren't there to bum Ladyboys ? I always took my kids for their school holidays, they did their diving courses there, its not sodom(y) and gommorah, me love you longtime is so 1980's ?3 points

A fox does NOT suffer any stress at any point while being hunted... It is actually healthy and completely normal for a fox to be hunted...that and killing is it's whole genetic make up... And the fact that foxes are thriving more now especially in urban areas after the ban is testament to this especially when it is mostly weedy sick or mangey specimens is not only due to their shitty diet..it's also because natural hard wired receptors in their brain and blood make of being hunted or killing naturally is why the species will deteriorate quicker..in my opinion... A healthy fox is a truly wild a3 points

An Irish man went to confession in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. 'Father', he confessed, 'it has been one month since my last confession... I had sex with Fanny Green twice last month.' The priest told the sinner, 'You are forgiven. Go out and say three Hail Mary's.' Soon thereafter, another Irish man entered the confessional. 'Father, it has been two months since my last confession. I've had sex with Fanny Green twice a week for the past two months.' This time, the priest questioned, 'Who is this Fanny Green?' 'A new woman in the neighborhood,' the sinner replied. 'Very wel3 points

Recently I had bought and received a MK V4 Fenn Trap and to test it I put it down a rabbit hole that I knew was at least semi used by the rabbits, low and behold not being able to help myself 2 hours later I checked it and there was my first ever carcass. I brought it back into the house skinned it, gutted and chopped it up the rabbits out here are very small so I didn't get a tonne of food nonetheless it was a really good experience and I'm glad to have gained the experience from it! Not to mention, it was a tasty meal! I have to say my least favourite part was the smell, and the fa2 points

I’ve also put this in the fishing section but thought I’d try here. Been asked to work up in the Ullapool area for the first 2 weeks in July. Will have evenings and a weekend free. Planning to take my fishing kayaks to see what’s about. Anyone from that area or know it fairly well? I’ll have a spare kayak and all kit going if anyone wants to tag along the odd evening. Won’t have the dogs with me but I’m happy to have a walk out too. Cheers.2 points
