Seems to be a few members looking for small rabbit type lurchers so ill offer my little dog up for stud, I'm not after no stud fee nor a pup back he's there to use for someone and he has a lot to offer. Almost 11 years old now he's a been there seen it all type of dog, hes been phenomenal for me and has been well worked.always punched well above his weight and sunk his teeth into almost everything the uk has to offer up and down the country. Just go into any BandQ, Wickes type of store unwrap a tape as you browse to measure something your thinking of buying then simply pop it on your belt/waste band when you leave, ??8 points

Yep,if you've a secure pen/she'd then youl not have to worry about dogs fighting because they won't be near. Ps if you've young children I'd get rid of that Akita, wouldn't trust it way a barge pole in the house especially f**k that greb. You've no chances when it comes to children.7 points

All the fecking about jesus if I want a dog I just get 1 it is what it is get the dog bring it up best yah can it either does what you want it to or it doesn't simple as that ?6 points

My opinion, for what it's worth, either get a proper outside kennel and run set up (which I wouldn't do nowadays if I still lived up country, after having dogs thieved) or get rid of the Akita if you want a lurcher pup. It may well be ok with a pup but it may not, especially when it's fully grown. Don't even know why anybody would get one of those f***ing things unless you owned a scrapyard lol Cheers, D.6 points

Nothing wrong with taking your time sourcing a pup, and doing your homework. But if you really want a pup, just get one. An experienced dog man should be able to overcome any problems encountered along the way ? Cheers.5 points

To be honest mate it was marginally funny a few days ago, but now it’s extremely dull. Will greb get a dog ? Will greb go coursing ? What will happen to to Grebs Akita ? f**k he’s loving the attention ?4 points

I really can't believe how people are trying to give problem solving answers in regards to keeping a boisterous young pup with a fully grown Akita and thinking that a walk around the park or hand feeding in the kitchen will resolve any animosity or jealousy. Do yourself a favor infact dog the pup a favor and don't do it, it will all endvin tears4 points

Hi, My dad passed away, so i'm looking for someone who would like to have all his fishing equipment. He was a keen fisherman for many years and had lots of fishing gear from over the years. All in good condition. Will need to pick up from Rainford and we don't want any money for them, just glad they will go to someone who enjoys the same sport has my dad did. Thanks Lynne. A few photos of my first pure whippet as he hits 16 weeks. Out with my collie X greyhound. Major departure for me as I've mostly had collie crosses.3 points

I've never been one for photos or vids if I'm honest, last thing I think off when out hunting, videoing or photos of dogs working was never tolerated in our company, if you wanted to do that you could fcuk off somewhere else.3 points

Just to add I replace my tape every couple of months, over the years I've used the cheapest to the most expensive, both extremes are false economy so I go middle of road , the Stanley stuff.3 points

David, surely you aren’t suggesting that rude vegetables (for example) are off topic? ?3 points

I’ve got loads big ones little ones some have even fallen out of fancy Christmas crackers but this is my go to tape Stanley a name you can trust.3 points

I dont understand how this has has gone on so long. Its pretty simple. You already have a dog you can't manage. Don't get another one til you have the first under control. How can it be any more complicated than that?3 points
-
We are talking about a dominant Akita being kept in the same space or even kitchen as a young lurcher pup or adolescent who is full of fun and play, not just feeding, listen lads if yous can't see a possible serious problem arising and the young dog being set back if not maimed or possibly killed then I've got it totally wrong I'll leave my thoughts on it at that ?3 points
-
No mate I fcuking wouldn't, if I didn't have secure individual kennels I wouldn't even contemplate it infact I would even have the fcuking Akita to sart with, but you fcuking stroll on with your stupid ideas, the pup will be the loser3 points

Lovely pups lads. I have a non ped whippet and can be a bit head strong at times but a cracking rabbit dog and bloody keen on deer mainly fallow round me but reckon he would take a roe given the chance, fallow are to much though poor f****r gets dragged round the field. Doesn’t stop him trying though ??3 points

Don't expect whippet to run all night like a collie grey. Due to my stupidity I ran my whippet bitch far too long and she just about collapsed before I realised my mistake.2 points

nice pup?, I too have my first whippet she's 19 weeks, I don't think it's the brightness of collie lurchers in general. I am finding the beddywhippet pups I have had were far more forward at the same age.2 points
