Looking back through my old memory cards...she came too me at 18 months old when my mate went over the wall..I had the pleasure of her company for 13 yrs.. She worked for me for 11 of them. ?

Every had one of them days when you feel you should have stayed in bed. Well picked my mate up headed for a local farm where he'd picked out a hedge to do "fresh loads in it". Ran the long nets out then started netting few holes and stop nets on top of the hedge then it starts to rain. Enter two of my ferrets in and out no bloody scent the hedge is empty now all the nets are wet. So half way through me picking up my side my mate climbs back over with his gear and long net saying I've lost one of my ferrets "we didn't use you ferrets" "the catch has come undone". Told him to take the gear back

It's in your blood Don, I'm in my 70th year and when I got the last running dog put down , I asked myself if I'd be happy just walking the house cur down to the allotment ? The answer was no ! Im happier bringing on a pup and looking forward to the future, far more than sitting watching day time telly and wondering what might have been ! ? ! Cheers.

Day number 7 and I wasn’t expecting a big day. They were flying that’s for sure, tricky land aswell plenty of escapes, my dog could of done with being a bit fitter as I said he has had 1 run in the last month after that stopper injury, a dog needs to tick all of the 5 boxes to catch numbers on there, speed, stamina, brain, mouth and good round cover, still be a struggle then, never heard the dogs so quiet on the way home they were zonked out ?
