Up north for a couple of days and had a morning with Hunter Harwood,, where he took me was very hard going but we managed a dozen before i had to pack it in because i was Bolluxed , the Bank we were on was about a hundred feet high and covered in Rabbit holes and every step i took the ground collapsed beneath me and i had to pull myself up , though there were a lot of Rabbits and very large area to go at i had to cry off i was just to tired to carry on . It was 6 month quarantine at the time and he said it would ruin an eight month Saluki pup, and I agreed with him. I brought a Doberman back from saudi and it did 6 month quarantine and I swore I'd never put a dog through that again Cheers.

My dogs in saudi were just Bedouin bred, no fancy names or pedigrees. Hamed, ( I mistakenly called him Hassan), offered me one of these pups as a gift if I could get it back to the UK without the quarantine at the time, but it wasn't possible. Cheers.

Back in the olden days, there were no CVs, no interviews, no vetting. You heard about a vacancy, went along and were told to start next day or as soon as. I had 3 jobs in a week once. Didn't like the first one, foreman was an arsehole in the second and the third I stayed two years. Too much malarkey these days. Employers definitely have the upper hand, it's ridiculous imo.

Not necessarily, some of the Indian running dogs come in brindle, and may have been introduced into the breed by traders. Of course, British soldiers and diplomats brought dogs home from the Middle East and North Africa, so it's quite possible they took greyhounds in the other direction ? Cheers.
