  3. Kieth ,I have just phoned my son in law (who works for the benefits thingy ) I explained your situation as well as I could with the information you have given us ,I told him you are worried that accepting the position could have a detrimental effect on any benefits ,pensions you are in receipt of and you are unsure of the tax implications ,he says he doesn't know ,it's not his department .

  7. Get yourself into the timber,.. lay your nets all along the outside runs, adjacent to the fence line,...you will have some grand sport? But keep an eye on the webs, because there is often far more than rabbits, lying up, in plantations?

  8. I'd give a kidney for him to be binned only to be replaced by The Mog ! There would be a mass suicide of hopeless anti-Tories as they thought it couldn't get worse.

  15. To be fair I don’t think the forces of law and order probably worry too much what a lot of the lads on here get up to. Plenty of folk who you know have never been out into a field ..... they wouldn’t have managed to find they way home. Or probably tie their boot laces on the way out the door.

  20. They tend to run from 1 group of trees to another and from that group to the next, rarely back to fence. My though was to long net between 2 banks of trees and try push them towards the net

  37. Same as, just spent over an hour catching up on this thread. When I was coursing back along, hares bred earlier in Lincoln than they did on the Fylde (Blackpool area) cos of weather and field size/crop grown. Cheers, D.

  38. Plenty far enough for what I do mate. And to be honest it’s not really about making it easier to catch lots for me, it’s more about avoiding detection, even on permission. The lamp is only on when you’re running stuff not scanning fields. The other thing is it allows for more precise quarry identification and selection. Ie I could have possibly killed that doe which was out grazing, but stood watching her for a while I could see her fawn tucked up in the hedge behind her. So just enjoyed watching her and let her on her way.
