  1. New start with a little youngster after being many years without a lurcher after some real bad luck and being young and dumb at the time listening to others shit and following them I've sourced a cracking pup from some good parents doing all the work im looking for, breeder owns and works both parents and grandparents in the past picking him up this evening a few pics here from when he was 4 weeks plus. a nice fresh start just me and the dogs and hopefully plenty of sport in the future Sire-Beddy Greyhound x Beddy Whippet. Dam- Bull collie greyhound name to be decided

  2. Aup folks, first post thought I’d introduce me and me pup…. my old man was a Lurcher man he passed away couple years ago and never got to teach me the ways of bringing a Lurcher pup on, I’ve got a good bushing terrier already….so I’ve been using the search bar on here to self teach along with them Dave Sleight videos on YouTube, thought I’d show my pup he’s 9 months now had him since he was 8 weeks old, I’ve been doing some lamp training with him at night, I don’t think he’s too far off having a go but not gonna start him yet. Although I can’t wait for that first rabbit. He’s keen as

  6. Again you duck and dive to avoid the issue. Gnasher has already pointed out that it is possible to move someone with minimal harm. Pub doormen do it all the time. And the protesters chose to be there. If they are so delicate they shouldn't put themselves in harm's way. Nobody is disputing the right to protest within reason. That does not include stopping emergency vehicles which is the point that you keep ducking. Some of these people have been put before courts, ordered to refrain and are still doing it. At what point does society say: Enough? Or at what point do we accept that anybody

  9. First lesson I used to say to lads, never assume, make sure. I personally have always hated all that “f**k about with the new lad” mentality……I got a bit of it when I was young and I always thought them type of blokes were pricks and do you know what, they are ! I never did it with my own lads, it can break young lads….as I said, bad management mate.

  11. It’s my first day tomorrow, I can’t believe it’s come around this quick. Pegs put out , vehicles clean . Strings cut . Boots polished , suit out of the dry cleaners. Horn polished ( go on Ben , make some innuendo) . Hopefully the birds will be where I want them and they fly well . I’m sure the birds will be good , I just can’t account for the marksmanship of the team . I think there are a few guests out , so I’m not expecting great shooting. Wish me luck ?

  14. i think you can still class a dog as a lurcher with only a 1/4 grey in it....i know collie john uses a reverse collie cross type....that only has 1/4 grey x 3/4 collie.....not my cup of tea but each to there own.....and i saw a lot of Andys dog Don as young animal which was lurcher cross pure collie....and he was a handy animal.... personally i like to have a good chunk of running dog in a lurcher

  18. I ended up with a decent little team of lads, my work used to be very, very physically demanding and mentally demanding too with some of the hours required and the work ethic required too. Thats very hard for young lads to just walk into, they didn’t know this type of graft existed so you have to nurture people a bit. Many of my lads would have been considered some of the lowest in society, unskilled, unqualified and unemployed upto the point they came to work for me but when we were in the thick of it those lads became emperors……and the best bit was, you could see they knew it and y

  19. Y'all first off I gotta say, didn't think we had these buttons down here but guess we do. So I stop at the local dollar store to get some batteries for my chronograph on my way to the range right. I'm wearing my ear buds kinda in my own world but when I get to the door I notice a younger lady walking up. Having been raised with some manners what do I do ?Hold the door open for the lady, it's the polite southern thing to do. Well on flipping though YouTube looking for the next Sabton song I wanna listen to ( yeah I know didn't think I could get any whiter did ya ?) and I notice she hasn't

Not weighed him for few years, when he lamping regular, was about 88lb, but even at that and his height 28in he still picked rabbits easy, best bag was 38 one night, that good going for big lump like him, he was bred for bigger things, which his size came in very handy. Pity they get old, but had some good nights with him deff ?

  23. From reading your replies wilf it seems to me (and I could be way off the mark here) that what your saying is that if you are a white British person you can do what you want when you want and you will defend that no question, but if you are coloured and foreign then it’s a different story. And just for clarity the video being shown was the result of an ambulance paramedic pleading with the protesters to move as he was blue lighting somebody to hospital and they flat out refused.

No wonder my birds are taking so long to feather up, I was up feeding and at 5:30 this afternoon and it was 19 degrees, it’s October for gods sake, I need some cold weather, I’m going to need to start shooting some soon just to stop them eating so much feed ? also the bloody fallow have started bashing up the feeders, good job I learned that lesson a few seasons ago and started putting them in crates to stop them rolling them about ?

Not only do they kill well they are cheap! ? I can hear the ears pricking "in't north east" as we speak.? It is only thirty pound to have the bore opened up by a proper gunsmith in Sandbach. I sent Three sxs guns to be opened up ready for steel.
