Top side beef joint, pot roasted in beef stock, veg stock, thyme, shallots, carrots, tomato purée, black pepper corns ( that lot turned into gravy) cream mash potato, rosemary, thyme and garlic roast spuds, sage and black pepper yorkie puds and a bit of veg, worth the effort but I’ve wrecked the kitchen ?

Couldn't agree more mate! If you're cooking... you're cooking i say. Keep whacking it in on until the heat dies is my thinking. We've got enough leftoves to get another stonking meal out of today too. Loads of meat plus hassle back spuds, savoury rice and salad. Kids and mrs have already feasted. I'll dine about 2am after I've supped these 2 bottles of vino...?

Met a few fox's scent was decent early on got very warm doh we were at cover inall for 6.10 but got to 8 o clock was to warm was nice to get out and get bit done getting fitter as weeks go by younger dogs pushing on that bit more good to see !!

Tbh I’ve never had a Lurcher so agile and so responsive, early days yet though. I will see how she goes this season and if anyone is interested or even if they’re not I’ll post an honest account of how things pan out.

I’ve never met Jeff but spoke to him on the phone, so can’t comment how he chooses to live his life and wouldn’t anyway. I don’t buy into his sales pitch but I like the way his dogs look and are put together. She has a good temperament and is intelligent and quick learner. Feeding time at the pheasant zoo again, this good weather is making a big difference, they are quiet and happy, taking feed and enjoying the sunshine, with the pens being dry they are able to dust themselves and really do look better for it, as the birds are a little older than when they normally go in they have no problem hopping the wire, this isn’t a big problem as they are roosting in and around the pen as they know where they live now, the pens are starting to stink a bit but as they are dry I’ll just keep an eye on them I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be on a day like thi
