Well what can I say after 12/13 years I had to put my wee mate down heart broken is an understatement . Old age just caught up to him as it does with them all. He was a one in a life time dog and I know il never get another like him an compare every dog il ever own to him . My son started hunting with him , killed his first fox with him , started hunting with him round cover He was a wee nipper when we got him . He set and watched every YouTube video of him last night in pieces . Memories we both have will last a life time thank you Flick rest easy wee son you did me proud ?❤7 points

Some way up that is mate!! We're moving south for our second week on Saturday. Staying on the shore of Loch Melfort. The father in law has brought a few rods along so we'll see what comes of it. It's a shame he can't make it down the steep banking here to get on Lochcarron.. lovely little secluded bay just opposite the cottage, he could have it all to himself. I spent an hour down there late the other evening watching an Otter.. pure bliss! just wish I'd taken a couple of cans down with me!, lol.. Beats being sat in the cottage watching embarrassing bodies or some other su7 points

The hybrids and the galgoes were both very capable the one of the galgoes did not miss once in a race he was like an exist missile the hybrids had harder ground but ran jack rabbits to a stand still with left. The pure salukies were not the quality of the other two.4 points

Well after foxing, stalking and pigeon shooting this week , yesterday evening it was the time to go rabbitting. Called up a permission for last hour before dark but most fields were high cover or barley. Anyway just wanted to show my face as haven't been for a few months and had a bit craic with the farmer. Didn't see many rabbits at all but managed a black one before dark , then a couple of hours after dark in a couple of grass fields and ended up with a few ?3 points

Other dogs feet look lovely so not sure about that sandy. i arnt kennel blind and im the last person to be. But i do think razor was talked up abit not saying him or his offspring are useless far from it. But its breeding me personally ive never got on with and dont know many folk whove stuck with it either.theres alot of coursing stuff i wouldnt go near for the lottery.3 points

The scoring is similar to English coursing, score for 1st in the run up and turn, then turns/work scores as the course goes on, so a fast dog that catches can get a quick win but as the course goes on a slower type can build up its scores to win. Bear in mind that those entering the top competitions are just the tip of the iceberg, there are thousands of people running their dogs as a hobby to catch a hare or compete against their mates etc. Ps the Spanish like a dog that takes the hare.3 points

Fair play to you mate for getting the wild camping in with the family.. bet you had some proper quality time together there. And the memory building with the kids.. they'll probably bring their kids back to Firemore.. just like you did.. lol!! It's fairly busy on the roads up here to say the least righ now.. being the summer holls and that coupled with NC500 boom that's going on.. every type of vehicle you can image on the roads today.. cycles.. motorbikes with side cars.. campers, caravans.. kitted out old busses and everything in between!! Loads of wild camping too in some cracking sp3 points

With the quality of rifles coming out now days I really don't feel like you need anything "custom" for most long range work. Lot of guys are doing it for under $1000 . Getting good good glass is the thing. But theirs actually a ton of scopes now days that are doing what used to cost $1500 for less then $500.2 points

Made it upto Firemore beach today TOMO.. some place isn't it! Nice that it's that just that bit out of the way and therefore not too busy at all. We drove up by Kinlochewe to Gairloch. Had picnic on the beach there, then into Gairloch itself for a cuppa and some cake to was the picnic down.. lol. Then from there did the 12 miles upto Firemore. Weather was kind to us even though they'd forcast showers. Absolutely stunning place isn't it.. Came back via the A897.. Kinlochewe to Torridon road.. absolutely amazing scenery along there.. looked proper dramatic with the clo2 points
