I’d say my choice would be what I’ve got now I only have one dog for everything I do there’s better dogs out there for individual jobs but I use a collie greyhound beddy greyhound x I think this cross is very adaptable an underrated in modern times They can ferret with or without nets, effective mooching dogs, work to gun or catty, work the lamp, race, gun dog trial, obedience trial, train an get registered as assistant dogs, get in the show ring an do well if that’s your thing, pick up on a shoot……they can be just used there tackle anything there not fussy! There no specialist dog though there13 points

Mate it’s not the 1980s I grew up on a notorious estate and 40 years back it was much as you see it,my daughter is now an assistant head at a school in a huge council estate, she goes to work every day through all the lockdowns etc to protect the kids from sitting at home watching mum and dad jacking up or witnessing domestic violence every day, the days when people watched out for each other and your neighbours had your back are a thing of the past, sorry to say ??6 points

It’s ok moaning, but as a parent of young children I would have told him to leave or knocked him out, but no one does anything except take pics on there mobile and moan on foolsbook, it’s how the next generation have been programmed sadly ?6 points

Can't do much else mate, 90% of people do their best in the circumstances they have... I'm sure we've all seen a bit of both sides, so doing your best for the kids and changing the cycle is the best you can do... regardless if your on an estate or out in the country parenting is giving kids your time first and foremost in my book...5 points

I got mine back in the 80's, not much ado, I was part of the SBS that first landed and took back Port Stanley. Whats yours worth? Seems like she hands them out for fun nah!4 points

I've really enjoyed the stamp of some of the dogs on here, some lovely crosses, this is my mad mongrel Celt he's not strictly a bushing dog in the traditional sense, but he's a good rough shooting companion. This year was meant to be his first wildfowling season, sadly Covid has limited this. He's a Labrador crossed with a New Zealand Huntaway.4 points

I,ve been out and collected me some of this stuff, make tea from the leaves or smoke the flower heads, it’s meant to give you a mellow high but the most vivid dreams when you sleep and you can remember them when you wake up, should be dried out enough for a go this weekend will let you no how it goes, has anyone else tried it, p,s apart from the buzz it also has many health property,s ??4 points

I have seen a couple of them and thought they were good. Sounds nerdy as f**k but another one I found very enjoyable was Portillo’s Great Railway Journeys Across Britain (or something like that)…..it’s mega ! Watch them, enjoy, try and visit some of these places before they build over every last f***ing inch.4 points

The youngest dog which I got off Gnipper is nicknamed bellend, because she is a complete roller pigeon eating, wall destroying, shadow chasing bellend. But fck is she good at catching rats in houses. I know it doesn't sound much but as a pest controller that one little small rat can be a wage and a reputation. Got a call from an agent about a rat in a house. Others had tried and failed with traps and the tenant was refusing to enter the property. The minute this dog enters a house she switches on, she knows and soon I know if it's there or if it's been and gone. She sets to and che3 points

Tripe is lovely stuff I normally feed quite a bit of tripe if I’m feeding chicken frames lamb ribs chicken necks, wings or duck to try an bring the 80ish % meat content up. As stupid as it sounds when I’m shit picking (daily) I keep a eye on the pups shit if it’s white or powdery it means to much bone if it’s like chocolate spread to much grain if it’s dark an runny to much offal when it’s right it’s perfect formed dog eggs that roll straight on to the shit shovel ???3 points

No they f***ing don’t, most of the poor little fuckers are living in a tip of an area, dealing with day to day shit no kid should have to deal with and having no kind of childhood whatsoever ! They are stumbling along hoping life in a total pisshole don’t grab them and eat them ! Kids?…..most of the so called grown ups are kids !3 points

But that’s the difference mate I would have happily taken all the shit that came my way to protect my kids, react now deal with the fallout afterwards, now folk do what they are told not what is right ??2 points

Exactly kev, most precious thing you can give is time and regardless of situation we can all afford a few hours to make sure they're doing right can't we.2 points

I agree completely with you, BUT, if you'd confronted the pervert you would have been accused of all sorts of hate crimes, and if you'd hit the f****r, its YOU who would have been in serious trouble ! To be honest, if it had happened in front of me and my grandson, I'd have hurt the "rainbow monkey", and hoped the magistrates took pity on an old man with outdated ideas of decency, and what's right and what's wrong !
