it might be bigger ...but im not sure that makes it faster...or perhaps harder to catch... all the times ive been out coursing and spoke to lads more experienced than myself will often remark that the best hares they have ran have been the smaller jacks around six or seven pounds rather than the big 8 or 9 pound whoppers you sometimes get ... its an interesting subject and open for debate of course....cos there are dozens of hare species around the world... and i see lads on here dismissing the spanish hare saying our coursing dogs would muller them....i would love to see that c

i would like to see them vids... not sure why you would think Spain isn't as rich as our land....although i suspect most lads look at Spain when they go on there hols to south and med coast....where it can be very arid i have been fortunate to travel the hole way round Spain...more than once and the land up in the middle and around Madrid is very fertile....very big open land....not dissimilar to our own fens ....every time I've drove through those areas i have often thought i would love to run a good hare dog here in the winter...

I don’t know any rich Arabs with saluki kennels but through my work I do have a few contacts with less well set up people from North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula through a shared interest in sighthounds. This is a double one, just made the one to try, put it in the other day and caught a single mole, the other side never went off so will catch double, I will be just making a few double catch and a lot of single catch. Made a few single catch already and catch well with them.

Bit of a dilemma do what's best for you only experience of working away i had was in the 84/85 strike accepted a job in a Scottish steelworks subbing for Plybrico lining a furnace and was offered jobs working abroad for silly money feck that i went back to the pit after the strike working away was not for me for any amount of money family kids and dogs come first.

Almost every gazelle you see in these videos is a "dropper". We used to fly crateloads of them from Africa to the Middle East for the royals and the rich to course.
