  1. it wasnt the maddest of his ideas, he even put a letter/advert in the earth dog running dog offering his services of curing sheep aggressive dogs. in short, you would take your sheep worrier to him, he would dress his bull terrier in a sheep skin, you let your problem hound have a go at worrying the "sheep" and it gets the shock of its life! i kid you not....? 8. So amongst my massive array of friends I’ve got one that’s an artist ... he does a kind of modern graffiti street style of art and as he knows I’m a big fan of the legend Bruce lee he did this for me. I know it won’t be everybody’s cup of tea but I really like it .....

  9. Some of the strongest willed people in history have had faith and belief in a god so Tim's idea that faith makes men weak is absolute shite.

  10. Dean,I think all that sniffing of the clodge warmers, has f****d with your head and clouded your senses to see sarcasm or a light hearted joke mate ? ...I don't usually comment on God threads as I'm ok with what others do or dont believe in... wouldn't say someone's weak because they have faith or believe in something others don't .......I don't feel like I have to push my own agenda,I'm a live and let live sort of guy??....

  11. You have probably made my point for me mate....am i " proud " to be a Christian ?.....no,why would i be " proud " ?....and thats what i find so bizarre about this whole absolute, categorical and forceful stance people like you take on the subject i mean people who believe Monday follows Sunday dont need to be proud of it or even explain it let alone shout it from the rooftops. Im not totally convinced but i have a certain faith in God and thats good enough.

  18. It all depends on the competition. If you live in an area with little competition then you will get ahead much quicker than if it is cut-throat. I agree with what Mole Trapper has said. You have to be prepared for a slow start over two or possibly three years before you can hope to get established. Once you are established you can be more choosy and decline any work that is too much hassle or too far to travel. Over the years you can shape the business, but you are looking at a minimum of five years to get to that point even if you have little competition.

  20. Yeppers. Remember, you'll need All your own equipment. No more pulling the firms DR5 out of Their van ..... Envisage spending £K's on kitting up. The good news is that ebay's usually awash with barely used gear, from those who thought it'd be a piece of piss

  21. You're only going to get that balance once established, starting any business takes hard graft and dedication. Don't make the mistake many make coming ' off the books' ie your comment about making eighty quid for 20 mins work. There's a whole load of overheads to come out of that. If you're willing to put the work in its a good move, go for it, but do it with your eyes open.

Great to watch, probably one of the most exciting fighters in the divisions history.....but just lacked too much to ever be called a great fighter for me.....over the years ive come to respect the way he always turned up to have a fight....win or lose he was coming to put it all out there and let the chips fall,so to speak.

  23. If we are doing this stuff on other planets then it easily conceivable that other civilisations are doing the same, maybe here on earth ? We are just in the infant stages of exploration, imagine what a civilisation with a million years on us would be capable of.

  24. Think about where yo go with the next generation, don't want to breed into a dead end, an out cross now to a similar bred animal then cross the pups back in next 2 generations??

  27. Regarding terriers that are called too hard,I remember being out with the late Lawton evans and a fox was to ground ,Lawton had two terriers with him one had an od scar the other was covered in scars, one man commented that the one covered in scars was too hard, and Lawton said it wasn’t hard enough or it would push right up to the fox and guzzle it just like the the one with only a few scars,wf ps I shall look forward to the comments, lol

  28. I've got a load of 600x600 paving slabs. Shall I stagger the joints 50/50, randomly or end to end? Lay em on sand with small joints and brush sand in or use one onof those jointing compounds? How long is it safe for a 7 year old to use a whacker plate for.....just until he cries?

  34. Semi autos are not ideal because they spit the spent cartridges out , which then have to be found and gathered up and put in the bin , also they tend to take longer to reload and faff about stuffing your cartridges in instead of keeping focused on the target . But for people who suffer from recoil because of injury or age they are a great choice. And it allows them to participate in the sport for longer .

We have a lot of Jackdaws around here but not like him he's mental come on the feeders when I'm only five foot away. Now two Collared Doves think is alright for Jacky its alright for us Lol.
