when you make the decision to end your life ,its cause no other avenue is open to you ,AS FAR AS THE AFFLICTED IS CONCERNED ..they feel their a burden to everyone around them ...their aint no light at the end of their tunnel...they have lost all rational thought ...its the complete opposite of being selfish,in fact they sometimes think their doing everyone a favour by taking themselves out of the equasion...

Other people’s hero’s blow horses to bits with nails, they blow teenagers and toddlers and babes in arms to pieces on Saturday afternoons while they shop, they massacre their own unarmed countrymen at the roadside for the crime of just going to do a days works, they die covered in their own shit and weighing about 3oz. Knocked up toe is a colloquial term for an over extension of the joint that damages the joint and supporting tendons, time will tell how much damage has been done. A vet is not a bad idea initially and they can supply some anti inflammatories. I'd lead walk only and use a low dose of an anti inflammatory like metacam. Once pain has reduced enough see if the joint is mobile, gently move the toe through its normal range of movement, if so keep it mobile with daily sessions. It takes 6 weeks to fully repair tendons. Build up exercise but be careful of galloping to early especially on

I get you mate, I lost two of my best mates to suicide in 2019 and have seen the suffering it's caused. Still, maybe it's selfish of us for thinking they should just snap out of it, I mean how fcuking low and worthless must you feel about yourself to commit suicide. That's another topic, just a horrible situation, the world needs more of his kind. ?

Aye suicide is a dark thing, especially when it comes down to depression or feelings, as opposed to illness. My cousin topped himself. Tragedy imo, he was a good man. He left behind a big hole... and we say that makes it selfish? Sometimes you look at yourself and decide to do something, it's for you. Is that selfish or just making a decision? The problem (normally) is the people they leave behind. Those people question "could I have done different and helped been better". The truth is if you dont know you can't help. I applaud that man who gave his life to try and save another.

My understanding is ex military can only wear their medals, not the uniform.
