  2. Cant say i watched all of it but the bits i flicked through made me realise once again how huge scale brainwashing is once again at play......here i am terrified to drop a plastic spoon into the water incase i harm the poor fishes which in turn harms the poor sharks that ultimately harms us and the world we live in.....when all the time little nips in far away lands are slaughtering the lot of them by the millions for huge multinationals who are blaming me !!

  3. ? We bred a fair few Collies when I was a young man,...my Father broke many dogs...(back in the day, spaniels and Herders were broke, the word trained,.. was not in their vocabulary?)...Anyway, we had several speckled and merle coloured dogs. Even then, we twigged on that Merle to merle was not a good bet. We frequently got deaf and white pups. Obviously these poor critters were not spoken of, and went straight in the bucket. I learned a lot about the Merle factor, and passed on this hard won knowledge, to certain lurcher aficionados? Anyway, that is all 'water under the bridge

  4. Seeing as it was a lovely sunny day we had a family picnic up the moors which turned into a wildlife tour with me pointing out grouse, curlew, lapwing and rabbits to the dismay of the wife....? Spring was definitely in the air with rabbits chasing each other about all over....

  6. Spot on mate, like all those “Me Too” actresses, suddenly remember they were “raped” 20 years (and millions of dollars) after the event......virtue signalling c**ts, if they had opened their mouth at the time they may have saved countless young girls enduring all that shit. But they didn’t, their hunger for fame meant more than the safety of women !

  9. Not to take away from the joke and I know this isn't funny but I saw a bloke do that on Torksey arm off river trent. I was fishing and this narrow boat was tramming down from river towards lock I thought f**k me he isn't guna stop at that speed, all of a sudden turned nose towards jetti on my side of arm, as it got to about 45deg he slammed it in reverse, went 2/3 round and put it in forward throttle and I SHIT YOU NOT as it was heading towards jetti he knocked engine off walked to front of boat jumped off with rope, threw it round tie up as back end of boat was still coming in to jetti,

  10. Phil Lancaster passed away with cancer approximately 10 years ago. We lived on the same street in Haywards heath as him (Vale road) to say he was strange is about off to be fair. He was a gem of a man. Him and my dad were great friends. I used to walk his dog (Tinder of Glebe) we'd strap two hot water bottles full of sand over his back. A very powerful dog but still friendly. He was british muzzled match champion. He was trying to get it to be an accepted sport for obvious reasons. The dogs would be held and then released to charge at each other and more or less wrestle. It was fascinating. I

  14. Because France and Spain have no cod fisheries of their own historically they fished off the Grand Banks and dried and salted the catch on the American coastal shores. This was the case for hundreds of years until the good old EEC, aka EU invented The Common Fisheries Policy that gave French and Spanish boats licence to fish in the North Sea. Then the UK joined and because of the geographical position and the fact that most adult cod are found off the UK, they began to exploit those fisheries. The Dutch then started buying up licences wholesale and grabbed the majority of the quotas using much

  17. In my opinion it's wasn't the dog that killed that seal but the stress. Absolutely the owner shouldn't have let it happen but if the rescuers had let it go back into the sea straight away I reckon it would've survived. I suspect it would be feeling a bit sorry for itself now but starting to heal up and certainly not dead. The stress of the attack followed by being wrestled into a van and taken to a rescue, who clearly had no idea how to deal with it, would have had a far worse adverse affect than the injuries themselves. Animals are far tougher physically than humans, I've seen deer, foxes and

Enjoyed my young bitch this season had a good laugh with her bringing her on ive not really a bad word to claim/say about her she’ll do me spot on I recon there’s only one thing I could say that might effect her later on in life is she’s not particularly a fast dog but has a good catch rate considering she’s not the quickest

  29. I can stomach most things but seeing whale sharks caught as bycatch and hundreds of thousands of sharks having their fins sliced off and dumped, absolutely turned my gut. All that plastic pollution that we are told is us, turns out the majority is from the fishing industry. Seal of approval trademarks funded by the very corporations who are responsible for industrialise fishing, which offer no guarantees of sustainable or ethical practices.

  30. Sorry to be the bearer of grim tidings, Tomo. But, that's exactly how it works, these days. Many companies do that. They pay all the customs / import duties, what ever, up front, for you. Then bill you, potentially ages later. It'll be buried deep within the tiniest print you never read. But, it's kosher Was it sixty quid you said? Sounds about right. You really want fukking debt collectors constantly sending you letters. Ringing you at all hours. Knocking your door? Over sixty quid you genuinely owe? Good luck with That shit!

  36. thing is the EU was going to cut quota`s by a large margin anyway so some of their fishermen were going to lose out, they just have brexit as a target for blame now, we all will have to wait for this covid shit to settle before we can see which way this is going but one thing is certain, if the french and spanish cooks want UK caught fish they will pay for it no matter how much bollox the EU tries

  40. 250g wholemeal flour, couple of tablespoons of oil, pinch of salt, (I use a bit of lemon juice) and then enough water for it to form a dough, I roll then to about the thickness of a pound coin, should be cooked with no colour but I prefer them to have some, they do puff up when cooking but soon collapse, if yours are not rising then the dough might be a bit too dry, as for salt, A, we eat too much of it and B, if you ease off it it does not take long for you not to miss it. I`ve got two types, usual powdered table salt for general use and some sea salt crystals to go on top of a loaf when

  43. I always thought that taking the big markets out of London took the life out of the place, jmho. The replacement of the market trader was also a major contributor, I remember as a kid going to Deptford and Roman Road regular with my pop, he knew all the traders and they all knew him, noise and excitement and men’s talk......I loved it as a little lad. As a grown man I used to fire into a little cafe in petticoat Lane early before they put he stalls out, all the lads who got a few quid to put out the stalls used to be in there sobering up, old bill were in there, couple of Italians ru

  44. Im certainly not going to argue who was brought up in the biggest shithole mate its a stigma lads like me have always tried to shrug off... if you want the title you are absolutely welcome to it ?. Its well documented over the years obviously places like Whitechapel/Spitalfields/Bethnal Green after war years were ravaged but even from way before that these areas always had terrible living conditions i think it was the 1910's - 1930's that the London County Council started a program of slum clearance, replacing them with " model dwellings " most of which were then flattened in the war ?....
