That’s it season is done for us now was meant to lamp tonight as the last one of the season but don’t know weather I can be bothered tbh looking forward to just chilling out now after work in the garden with my kids and looking forward to some bbqs over the summer months. Enjoyed my young bitch this season had a good laugh with her bringing her on ive not really a bad word to claim/say about her she’ll do me spot on I recon there’s only one thing I could say that might effect her later on in life is she’s not particularly a fast dog but has a good catch rate considering she’s not the quickest15 points

it seems not only have pets become part of the family and humanised but they are going to be judged the same as humans too ,soon a dog will be up in court for shoplifting if it takes a packet of biscuits or a bone and runs home with it ,the place is gone to hell, and theres no turning back ...8 points

Some day in the future we humans will use up all natural resources and die out and the earth will slowly begin to heal itself and be a better place7 points

Not to take away from the joke and I know this isn't funny but I saw a bloke do that on Torksey arm off river trent. I was fishing and this narrow boat was tramming down from river towards lock I thought f**k me he isn't guna stop at that speed, all of a sudden turned nose towards jetti on my side of arm, as it got to about 45deg he slammed it in reverse, went 2/3 round and put it in forward throttle and I SHIT YOU NOT as it was heading towards jetti he knocked engine off walked to front of boat jumped off with rope, threw it round tie up as back end of boat was still coming in to jetti,4 points

Quite so. And those disgusting Butchers Shops? They should have their windows blacked out. Snide entrances, 'Round the back'. Known to only the disgusting Untermensch who revel in such perverse, archaic and disgusting practices as slavering on flesh of fellow sentient beings. Am I doing this right, LOJ?4 points

Brilliant footage from over a century ago. Very humbling and poignant that all of those souls are long gone. Looking them in the eyes is like two audiences observing each other across time.3 points

Phil Lancaster passed away with cancer approximately 10 years ago. We lived on the same street in Haywards heath as him (Vale road) to say he was strange is about off to be fair. He was a gem of a man. Him and my dad were great friends. I used to walk his dog (Tinder of Glebe) we'd strap two hot water bottles full of sand over his back. A very powerful dog but still friendly. He was british muzzled match champion. He was trying to get it to be an accepted sport for obvious reasons. The dogs would be held and then released to charge at each other and more or less wrestle. It was fascinating. I3 points

That isn't the fault of Brexit as more of the EU cutting it's nose off to spite our face! UK cannot be seen as being successful post Brexit, nor will they dictators agree a trade deal. Pure spite! However the Spanish, French etc consumers still want their fresh fish and seafood.3 points

No it can’t because to farm enough feed to sustain those animals the rain forest needs to be cut down to make way for agriculture ... we lose 78 million acres of rainforest every year .... 78 MILLION .........2 points

Nigeria; oil and minerals in abundance, but a hell hole. Zimbabwe; once the "bread basket" of Africa, now a basket case. Venezuela; biggest oil reserves in the world, but their people are starving. Mexico; part of North America and a member of NAFTA along with America and Canada, but their people risk their lives to cross the border. North Korea; Regular famines, yet South Korea is one of the richest, most successful countries in the world. Why is this ? The only common denominator I can see is corrupt governance. Cheers.2 points

The bottom line is that third world countries that need propping up by the rest of the world need some sort of family planning put into place ... forcefully if needed.2 points

Never wish youŕ time away. People say "oh it was better in the good old days" but it never was. It is a case of rose tinted glasses. I'm not all that old to remember this stuff but life was worse back then really. If you go and look back on old YouTube vids alĺ the people looked old, they all looking like refugees. It was all hand to mouth back then. Standards of life in all ways have risen greatly. The only reason that people could leave their doors unlocked was that they had bugger all worth anything.2 points

And another thing - I was on a FB group the other day and a lad posted up a picture of a mole that had been trapped by the wrist - blood and all. We all know that unfortunately foul catches occasionally happen, but to my mind, uploading images of carnage (especially where it is obvious that the animal must have suffered) to the internet is self destructive to those of us who enjoy the rural life and make a living out of trapping. If the Anti brigade start lobbying parliament with such pictures then I can see mole trapping being banned outright.2 points

The UK gives roughly ten times the overseas aid, per capita than China does. A lot of Chinese "aid" is in return for mineral rights and access to emerging markets for its goods. Nothing wrong with that.......maybe we should try it ! Cheers.2 points
