Hello All, Had a short chat with Snoop earlier and unfortunately Razor left us last week. This special dog was born on 4th Sept 2008. Provided one man with 6 long hard seasons performing at the highest level. He has sired some great dogs and his name lives on through them. I know there are a lot of you on here running dogs with his blood so thought it was right thing to do and share the sad news. Rest in peace this most special of dogs. RIP Razor33 points

Was telling my buddy about how much you guys liked our turtles and snakes and stuff and he sent me this saying y'all would probably enjoy it. Said this was from one of his duck hunting groups. Decent sized alligator snapping turtle in one if the duck swamps these guys hunt. Apparently in swamps where theirs a decent population it's not uncommon to be shooting or waiting on ducks and all of a sudden you just start moving as you where actually standing on top of one . I've only ever caught one and it was 1/4 if this ones size but was still easily 60lbs so wouldn't surprise me i11 points

Out with the pup later than usual ( watching yesterday’s ufc this morning). He put two squirrels into a hole in the base of a tree so I waited there and sent him to hunt out the wood, I could see him getting closer dancing round trees ect and looking up for the squirrel. Eventually it came close enough for a shot and down it came ??.8 points

Razor was buddy x Kim (Charlie x foxy) (smokey x dancer) I had the pleasure of watching him run twice a week for 6 seasons. He was without doubt the best and most consistent hare killer, on all types of land iv ever seen. He also went on to produce some top class animals, what more can you ask for from a dog? Snoopdog always wanted to put him to a well bred pure and luckily we managed to make this happen before the old lad left us at the age of 13. The pups are now 7 months so we will see what next season brings for them. I have high hopes. RIP old lad, one in a7 points

We ordered 2 steaks for a valentines dinner but they only sent 1 so the Mr's complained and got a 25 quid voucher as a sorry from waitrose. Don't worry I said to her we can do something with the 1 steak for breakfast, it turned out to be a good mistake. Steak and eggs hash ,nom nom ?7 points

I love going out to watch those when they arrive here for the summer. Good for locating kills in the forest! 3 years ago I was out walking the dogs in the forest while I was out twitching for Turkey Vultures. I was about 2 hours out, in the middle of no where, following the forestry tracks when a bloke stepped out of the woods ahead of me. He was dressed in buckskins, had a massive beard and looked like he hadn't washed in a decade. Had an old lever action rifle slung over his shoulder. I stopped in my tracks and the ACD I have growled. I waved at him. He waved back. As I took a step tow6 points

Too many lads keep them banged up single from pups and dont get them out enough. When I kept bull crosses,Black terriers and even an apbt I could have them all mixing like that even with liþers of pups mixing with them.Couldn't be doing with dogs wanting to scrap with their kennel mates.Only time I had any bother was when my Mrs got 2 showey Russell/White lakey types.Even then it would usually be one of the cowardly c**ts bashing a pup for no reason.5 points

Think my Mrs favourite saying is " I haven't seen it ". She has, can't remember she has, can't remember were she has put it. Drives me insane. I was putting up a light in the kitchen one day. Put my hand down for the screwdriver, gone. What have you done with the screwdriver? "haven't touched it" buggered if I could find it. So got another out of my toolbox, two hours later I found it in the cutlery draw. Cheers Arry5 points

Lads talking about reinventing the Plummer .Why is beyond me .Just add what’s about ,work cull repeat .The ONLY thing that sorts out a breed of anything to breed the right traits is to CULL the undesired traits .Unfortunately they are worth money so not going to happen and so the cycle continues .4 points

Not my white dogs, they would have been bred around 140 years ago. Images borrowed from R B Lee's Fox Terrier, 1889. Available as a free download from IWTF site for anyone interested. At the time the drawings were done I think the breed was on the cusp in transition from a working terrier to useless show dog. According to the author these types were still being used on fox, badger and otter. Not too dissimilar to some of the Russell types that we still have.3 points
