  3. Hi all I bought a Swallow 20x80- binocular last year, They're a bit heavy and high powered to hold still, I have some 1" square tubing and hope to make a weighted parallogram to hold them! They're a bit chunky against my Monarch 8x42! This is what i'm hoping to make! I did a few moon pics with a 500mm lens fitted but have to use manual settings, I find it difficult to tell if i'm fully focussed through the camera so the pics never come out too well! It has a 2x multiplier fitted in this pic so the lens is in effect a 1000mm lens!

  4. ....I have two interviews to attend tomorrow ?. The day started glum. Listening to folk going work this morning was a bit depressing but I couldn't stop in bed so hit the ground before light. Bitter cold I checked my suspended vixen from the other day and there was new tracks all around so I set the camera up by her. Next I went walking. Not much happening but thought I would check a spiney of oaks for an old cock bird that gets in there but keeps dodging me. As I got there with little hope a buzzard flew in low and just out of sight of me and in the same out of sight place ole cocky

  5. Every year i like to get out on new years night but the weather this year certainly wasn't conducive to foxing. I decided to give it a miss and go on the night of Jan the second instead. The owner of a farm localish and caravan park had sent me a message asking when could i go again as he had heard foxes calling all around the farm. It seemed a good place to start the year off, so i made arrangements with my mate to pick him up at seven thirty and carry on to the farm. This is the place that had the dimwit horses out earlier in the year but are now safely stabled indoors and can't interfere wi

  6. It was lovely when the sun was shining and all the fat solar powered wankers were polluting the countryside with there presence and needed a dog to enhance the experience, but no one warned them it would get wet and cold soon and the new pride and joy would still need a walk or start shitting all round your house and chewing the furniture so we arrive at this sad state of affairs?again

  7. I’m not sticking something into my body that hasn’t had a long term test. The government had to agree with the developers of these vaccines that they would be immune to prosecution or law suites in the future. That in itself tells me that they are not sure of long term effects. I’m fit and healthy and only 52. I hardly ever get a cold or flue so I see no reason to have a Vaccine.

  14. I didn’t see him saying he is anti Vax just doesn’t want the flue jab. I’ve had dozens of vaccines pumped into me because of all the shit holes I’ve had to travel to and all my kids had their mandatory jabs but I’ve never had a flue jab and won’t be having the covid jab. That doesn’t make me an anti vaxer ........

  19. My opinion would be it would eventually drop to ground mate, 100s of years of breeding behind it says it would eventually do what’s in its DNA and chase something and drop in, now I’m not saying it would say to ground till dug to but that’s a different question just my opinion

  21. The problems are coming from all of the mixed messages, half truths and contradictions that are being span out. ............... they're happy for hundreds of kids to go back to school and mix but, 3 of us weren't allowed to go 45 miles to my parents on Christmas day - wtf? Then there's a large section of society that's swallowed the whole doomsday story and become judge, jury and Hitler if you dare pop in the corner shop for 30 f***ing seconds without a poxy mask. ............. someone please remind me what the survival rate of this thing is? I grew up being

  22. My old Nan used to take in telecom engineers from the local college, it was a good little earner and a bit of company for here when me granddad went on, they arrived Monday tea time and left Friday morning so not really a great inconvenience for the shillings she was getting, this went on fine for years and years until one day a black telecom engineer turned up and my Nan phoned BT told them he wasn’t staying in her house and never to send anyone ever again, it was just the way it was not even racist just a fear of the unknown ?she said she wouldn’t be able to sleep with him under the same ro

  26. Being totally honest mate it will be a judgement call for me, I have young kids to think about and nobody to look after them in this country so me and the wife can’t really afford to get seriously ill and be incapacitated. Ill see what the craic is when the time comes is my honest answer pal

  27. Yes but you can’t accelerate a clinical trial by years ... you can only analyse long term effects over a long term that’s why vaccines take so long to produce.

  30. The deaths dropped as we went towards summer this is because coronaviruses are mainly seasonal nothing to do with lockdowns, we will keep having lockdowns until the spring and then the deaths will drop largely in number again over the summer and we will again be told that it is because the lockdowns have worked but in reality it’s just the weather change

  34. I remember back in 1982 and I was a junior soldier on a day trip to the imperial war museum . I was in a group with some lads from Ireland, they had never seen a black man in their lives . As we drove through London and they witnessed plenty of blacks it was like being on a coach trip in a safari park , they were fascinated, “ Bejeeezus , just look at the f****n state of em , der loik monkeys “ !!!! ???? Oh how those days of innocence have long gone .

  35. Does killing rats even make any difference as to how easily a terrier will or wont enter to real quarry?I dont think so.Ive seen terriers that have killed loads of rats and ragged loads of carcasses and been tied up on digs that haven't made anything. On the other hand Ive seen youngsters that have just been socialised properly and been out and about enter in the first occupied earth they've come across with no encouragement at all.Yeah ratting is a bit of fun and better than being stuck in a kennel but I dont think it makes any difference when entering to the proper job.
