  3. My dog pup from the litter, about 26tts jumping, stock broken not a peep from him in the pen, so far a joy to rear, I only want the dog for fox, no interest in using a lurcher on anything else, so if he lifts a fox I am happy

  5. Me and Ella decided to have a 3 night hunting trip up north. It worked out we would come back on my birthday, ideal for me to go and see my kids. We took three lurchers (Bud, Pip and Trudy) and my two young ferrets (Big rich and Titch). We started by lamping saturday night, conditions were decent but we struggled getting close enough for slips. We struggled on and caught 7. It was getting on for 4am when we had finished lamping and we had a late start the following day. Anyway we pitched up the van on the first day and then headed off out ferreting for a few hours. We caught anoth

  6. I’ll run the idea past my boss , he’s bound to jump at the chance of you lot turning up to shoot his birds . Mossad would turn up with an AK 47 , sausage with his musket , Ian Ms grandson would wipe out the the local wildfowl population . You will have to drag Pretty boy Stavross away from the mirror, which might be difficult. And Benbhoy would probably interfere with our flock of Cotswolds .......sounds great ?

  7. I watched that the other night when it came out. Looking very suave there Mr Stav. I was a little disappointed to discover you are not the 9' 14" i thought you where.? It is our 410 shoot tomorrow for charity, which i really enjoy. We do it every year and everyone bungs a hundred quid in. The proceeds go to a local childrens hospice, we always get about 2.5k for them. It isn't really about shooting just having a good laugh and raising a few quid for the kids. The farmers daughter in law who lives next to our shoot cabin puts food on for us at 12,o,clock. Then about one we go an

  9. The man who had these seemed a decent sort. He Didn’t try and wrong me or the other lads who I know who got a pup. They were advertised as foxing lurchers never a mention of any other game. And I have no connections to the man who bred them i only heard about this litter through a mate I don’t be on here much. Parents are meant to have done a bit so who knows after that, they could all work and they could be all dirt just how it goes...

  13. Years gone by a lad could walk all day with an airgun and just get nodded at .The mobile phone has a lot to answer for as said . We used to cycle to the local tip ,shoot rats all day with drivers telling us where the most were .Nowadays there are very few rats and no shooting allowed . Kids are put off field sports at every turn if they want to go it alone as we did . Never got into catapults but sort of wished I did really .Blackwidow was my only introduction to them but every lad and his dog had one back in the day .

  15. I enjoyed the video Stavross, so much so I watched it on the Telly and I’ve given it a thumbs up and I’ve even subscribed. I liked the way the little lad made light work of all the cover , and picked himself up and carried on after falling . Give it another 5/6 years and he will be running the show ?

  20. ? no ? I'll qualify that with this; this site is the only site I'm on. Don't do instagram, snaptweet, facebook, or any other form of internet bollocks, got no time for any sort of gossip or anything. I'm straight to the point with everything I say, to the point of 'upsetting' some people of a somewhat 'sensitive' disposition. Although I have mellowed a tad. Good day to you sir, ........... you strange twat ??

  21. No no no ,cutting them off isn’t satisfying at all .Stringing them along is by far the best route ,prevents others getting the call within that time .The old phone contract call is always a good one .Hi my names David ,f**k is it but carry on .They are reading from a script and no matter what your answers are they persevere lol .Call them what you like they will still carry on unless you hang up .Sport in our house . The only way they can get access to your system is by you consenting to them using the remote access feature which you have to manually set up .

  38. Boxing Day Shoot and all the snow had melted..... I creaked my neck on Christmas Eve so never took my gun this morning and purely intended on not shooting. After the duck drive which I never shot 1 of the other guns gave me his o/u Beretta as he said he wasnt bothered about shooting. Now I have never shot o/u I have always had a sxs so never thought I would hit anything ? anyway I shot a couple of driven pheasants, 2 woodcock and a snipe so didnt do too bad ? It was freezing where we are on the exposed tops so glad to be indoors now to thaw out ....

  39. Had a nice little Boxing Day shoot . The boys managed to mug/ shoot 41 pheasant and two pigeon. In the pre shoot talk I expressly said “ no ground game “ , well I think some of the birds today , although on the wing , might fall into the “ ground game “ category. But nobody was injured, and it was a great way to work off some over indulgence. We only walk around the boundary on the one side of the shoot. A neighbouring farm puts a few birds down and it’s like a buffer zone between the two shooting interests . I won’t call it a shoot because it’s not , they used to just feed our bi
