  1. Me and Ella decided to have a 3 night hunting trip up north. It worked out we would come back on my birthday, ideal for me to go and see my kids. We took three lurchers (Bud, Pip and Trudy) and my two young ferrets (Big rich and Titch). We started by lamping saturday night, conditions were decent but we struggled getting close enough for slips. We struggled on and caught 7. It was getting on for 4am when we had finished lamping and we had a late start the following day. Anyway we pitched up the van on the first day and then headed off out ferreting for a few hours. We caught anoth

  7. Boxing Day Shoot and all the snow had melted..... I creaked my neck on Christmas Eve so never took my gun this morning and purely intended on not shooting. After the duck drive which I never shot 1 of the other guns gave me his o/u Beretta as he said he wasnt bothered about shooting. Now I have never shot o/u I have always had a sxs so never thought I would hit anything ? anyway I shot a couple of driven pheasants, 2 woodcock and a snipe so didnt do too bad ? It was freezing where we are on the exposed tops so glad to be indoors now to thaw out ....

  8. Had a nice little Boxing Day shoot . The boys managed to mug/ shoot 41 pheasant and two pigeon. In the pre shoot talk I expressly said “ no ground game “ , well I think some of the birds today , although on the wing , might fall into the “ ground game “ category. But nobody was injured, and it was a great way to work off some over indulgence. We only walk around the boundary on the one side of the shoot. A neighbouring farm puts a few birds down and it’s like a buffer zone between the two shooting interests . I won’t call it a shoot because it’s not , they used to just feed our bi

Sadly fire arms and me don’t go together mate, have an odd day out with guns of mates but that’s my lot, find it a bit noisy and restricts moving about as I like to wander were ever the wind blows me and the days of £50 fines and confiscation orders are a long way behind us they tend to get a bit over excited and over react nowadays ??

  11. You have come on here and have argued with some of the most respected terrierman in the UK and most likely the entire world, ?the knowledge these men have of these dogs and their history is unreal. Your Pulling up old topics and quoting folks looking for some sort of pat on the back ?people can see through it... We are a suspicious lot, it pays to be over here, its a dirty game the dog world, too many haters... something not quite right about you... Post some pics? Or just keep making yourself look silly . Merry Christmas Pal?

  12. Ok swear I need to stay outta pawn shops lol. Said I was just gonna pop in real quick and get some cheap 7.62x39 to squirrel away but noticed this old .22lr on the self. And of course the nice lady behind the counter asked if I was interested and got it in my hands. Now I'm starting to have a real liking to these older rifles and since this was a obvious target model I had to have it for the collection lol. Happened to have a tube fed savage .22lr that would never feed right and a crosman break barrel in the car so after a little horse trading managed to get $120 in store

  16. Just gotta be careful with the edibles.A lot of the time I dont think the dosage on the packs is very accurate.Im pretty sure they're not made und medical laboratory conditions.Ive had some stated as high dose and Ive necked a few and its just chilled me out and got rid of my aches after a days graft and ive had others that have stated a lot lower and ive necked a couple straight off and they've wiped me out for the whole evening to the point that I wont even attempt to answer the phone and have a conversation with one of my best pals.

  17. If you have abit of self control, then there's no problem with recreational drugs, everything in moderation ... Tabacco and alcohol has ruined a hell of alot more lives worldwide and continues to do so... But that's OK because the powers that be control it??

  20. If a nice fine fluffy consistency is what you are after may I suggest you try a chilly chopper, makes the fluffiest mix out of anything just chuck it in and give a few turns of the handle comes out perfect every time, bit more bulky but far superior to any grinder I,ve ever seen ?

  21. Later on when she was fully into her career we would have a drink now and again when she was home. I always found it terribly cringeworthy all the awkward, childish blokes that would come creeping up talking absolute shite.....f***ing embarrassing! I always liked the company of women when I was a young man, they are by and large a much better laugh and a lot more grown up and interesting. Fact is, what you get to see when you hang out with birds is that most blokes are total pricks. Always loved women, fascinating creatures.

  22. Lol it's a bit mad looking back to my school days. I was literally the size of a racing snake, and very very fit and athletic. Only started putting weight/size on when I left home.

  23. Just do a pure regular single standard skinner, the trick is how you load it, you need to get your green to a nice and small consistency no clumps and definitely no stalks even the tiny ones need to be removed then not rolled too tight or loose but just perfect, if you do all this right then it smokes smooth and clean without constantly going out, a real joy . Just a side note it works far better with thicker papers .

  31. Funny you say that Tomo the only other one I’ve had there was two but they was chasing each other about above ground, one got away and the other was caught by the dog but like the one yesterday it was unintentional as I’ve sat many times watching how they run and run the rabbit until it’s screaming before the kill , they run at no great speed but just stick on the rabbit they have locked in on , I don’t no why the rabbit doesn’t bolt off in full speed across the field and blow it away but they never seem to they just run round and around.

I ferreted a Warren on a bank years ago and heard the rabbit squealing as the ferret had got hold of it so shoved my arm up the tube to grab the rabbit ... felt the fur and then the scaly tail wrapped around my wrist. Thank fukc the ferret didn’t let go of the head end ... turned my blood cold ........
