  6. My grandson is five, I haven't seen him for over a year as he is in lockdown in Saudi because of Covid. Yeah, we talk daily on the pc, but it's not the same. Hes very busy with his horse and his swimming and karate lessons, but I miss taking him to the allotment with the dogs, feeding the hens and ducks, eating tomatoes straight off the vine. They grow up so quick, a year makes a big difference, I hope this lockdown ends sooner rather than later. Cheers.

  9. Nobody hates who/what your family are stop playing the leftie/anitfa/blm victim all the time its infantile and weak. Your family are not and can never be English by definition....yes they can be citizens of England but thats not the same thing....ethnicity cant be given out like certificates by progressive home office bureaucrats, one cannot simply " identify " as English the same as a man cannot " identify " as a woman or a woman " identify " as a Penguin.....despite what the left tell you people CANNOT " identify " as anything they want to be....dna is not something we can opt into....th

  11. After using the wraith on the .243 I decided I didn’t want it on that rifle, I was going to go 22-250 but the distance the wraith works best would say it’s to much rifle for the scope, so I will eat my words, I put down for a .223, I’ve never had one and always said I wouldn’t have one so we’ll see how I get on with it once I’ve built up the courage to part with my cash ? hats off to firearms, 48 hour turn around on a variation ?

  16. My .243 is a t3x lite stainless and I don’t think I’d buy anything else now, I had a .243 tikka varmint barrel and it was like carrying an assault cannon i used to take people out with me just to make them carry the rifle

  17. I don’t think so mate , I don’t think that’s how it works. In any organisation, if the boss starts overruling the staff it’s a sure fire way to create bad feeling . And it’s rocking the boat , you could find that any further dealings with the team will be met with resistance . It shouldn’t I know but I bet it will . It’s a bit like why I’m reluctant to send food back in an Indian restaurant, we have all heard what the kitchen staff do into your curry .?

  20. I agree with that but don’t you think that it’s a sad reflection of where we are at as a “nation” (we ain’t !) that we are having to give hundreds of millions to councils to do what needs doing to protect the nation ? (obviously forgetting the argument of if we feel it needs protected or not) Can you imagine WW2: Churchill: “Excuse me Coventry, would you implement a black out please” Coventry: “only if you give us 100 million quid !” Churchill: “But other places are doing it” Coventry: “So f***ing what you Tory c**t !” lol

  24. I don't teach my kids either way, I simply let them learn for themselves. I grew up in a family with radical opinions and they have rubbed of on me, I've dropped some of them as I've matured but still slip words in that I shouldn't. It wasn't until I got with my misses that I realised not only how bad I was but how silly I looked in the way I worded them. I don't want my daughter's to be bracketed in the same way I have been and therefore will let them make up their own minds when they reach an age that they have the capacity to do so.

So 17hmr and 243 in back of truck and away I went misses asked no questions just see you in morning. So kept on calling and then another vixen around 120 yards about 5 mins later. So jumped in truck and headed up the top f

We may have our silly arguments on here but I wouldn’t do that to the lad or anyone else. I have known This little gem for months and it’s just good Enough to know ?

  33. Thing is, we HAVE left the E U, it's just the trade deal that's to be sorted. We will know by the end of December one way or another, trade deal or WTO rules, like most of the world. I think the heads of the individual EU countries have finally realised that we are not bluffing about "no deal" and are starting to think about their own interests. Even Barnier has started making conciliatory noises now that we told him not to come back unless they move from their intransigent position. For the first time we are putting the U K first, unlike those Quislings Cameron and May ! C

  37. i always go out on my own mate, to avoid the very situation that you have described. What a nightmare that must have been. only ever made one exception and that was taking me daughter out, with one dog each, slip each one individually, just to get a young dog some experience really. still laughing thinking about the young un spinning about on the lead watching the old lurcher coursing the rabbit up the hedge. Looking back i was lucky he did not open up. He caught his 1st rabbit that night actually.?

  38. That's awful mate, if I remember rightly I posted that in the middle of last month after hospital tests ,the doctors surgery contacted me to inform me that a doctor would shortly be ringing me, and yes he did, and informed me I had mitral stenosis , and what do you want me to do, I panicked all sorts went through my mind and I told him forget it cos of my age, at the moment the only thing in life that keeps me going, is the fact I have a daughter who is a carer in the community so I help her out financially at the end of each month , This forum has been very good to me in the past in my hr o

  41. I voted Labour all my life until I realised what a shithouse Blair was ! I voted for Boris, (rather than the Tory's), at the last election, for two reasons; 1; he seemed the most likely to get Brexit done. 2; I couldn't bring myself to vote for a terrorist supporting, anti Semitic, Britain hating, communist old tramp. I hold the vast majority of politicians of all parties in the same utter contempt. Cheers.

  43. As I keep harping on about mate, what else do we expect. They have spent 50 plus years creating a country where you ain’t meant to feel any kinship to your own, having a sense of nation and identity is an outmoded and small minded concept, your flag means nothing, the soil beneath your feet means nothing, you church and that group means nothing......we are all individuals who should ignore every other individual and just do whatever we want to do, take the credit card and forget everything else ! And now we need all those things to matter, they don’t ! Just for good measur

  49. The main problem I have with BASC is they are a multimillion pound business now and don’t offer its members good value for money, instead of using its vast amount of money to support mr average joe bloggs they spend all there time organising events to make more money. I’ve known a few paid up members that have needed help and they have been told basically to tow the line or there’s nothing we can do for you. BASC likes to be seen as the conservationists and constantly bang the grouse moor drum, supporting the management of massive shooting estates and although these estates do do some good env
